LOCH CUAN has improved with each career start and got off the mark over C&D last month. The five-year-old appears to have an excellent opportunity to follow up, with a 7lb penalty unlikely to pose any concerns. Tribal Moon wasn't disgraced when finishing seventh in a Downpatrick maiden hurdle just 12 days ago and he is likely to be competitive, while Drumconnor Hill appeals most of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Loch Cuan 2nd Tribal Moon 3rd Drumconnor Hill

Alvesta won a selling handicap hurdle here on her latest start and has to be of interest, especially now in the care of Jimmy Moffatt. Forest Spirit produced her best jumping effort to date when runner-up at Ffos Las and may have more to offer stepping up in trip, but it is hard to ignore the claims of PARISH STAR. The six-year-old struck twice earlier in the year and her latest second at Market Rasen suggested she would be back in the winner's enclosure sooner rather than later.
Prediction : 1st Parish Star 2nd Alvesta 3rd Forest Spirit

PASSENGERONTHESHIP arrives in the form of his life after winning four on the bounce at Hexham in the space of little over a month. The latest of those was last Sunday and the manner of the victory suggests the 7lb penalty isn't likely to stop his progression. Justicialism has been knocking on the door over hurdles and has to enter the reckoning, along with chasing debutant Aslukgoes.
Prediction : 1st Passengerontheship 2nd Justicialism 3rd Aslukgoes

CAUGHTINYOURTRANCE has been threatening to open his account over fences. Not beaten far when second over a shorter trip here last month, Jimmy Moffatt's charge finished ahead of subsequent winner Stratagem when runner-up over C&D prior to that and looks worthy of another chance in this lower grade. Stratagem faces a tougher test raised 8lb, but last year's winner Fairlawn Flyer could prove dangerous off his current mark.
Prediction : 1st Caughtinyourtrance 2nd Fairlawn Flyer 3rd Stratagem

Irish challenger Blue Reed arrives in fine fettle, but he has a 10lb higher mark to contend with after scoring over timber at Kilbeggan and ZUMBI makes more appeal. Beaten only a neck over C&D on his penultimate start, he won nicely over a shorter trip here a few days later and an 8lb rise is negated by Leah Noreci's allowance. Out On Her Own represents last year's successful yard and it would be no surprise to see her thereabouts at the finish.
Prediction : 1st Zumbi 2nd Blue Reed 3rd Out On Her Own

The consistent GOODWIN FACE looks the most likely to run his race once again. Chris Gordon's charge built on his placed efforts at Plumpton when scoring with plenty in hand at the same venue and there could be more to come from the six-year-old this year. Zamond looks on a fair mark and should be sharper for his recent comeback, while Ben Haslam saddled the winner of this in 2023 and 2024, with his Jolie Coeur Allen preferred to stablemate Lightening Company.
Prediction : 1st Goodwin Face 2nd Zamond 3rd Jolie Coeur Allen
