BRUNHILDE showed ability on her debut at Southwell and confirmed that promise when making her turf bow at Salisbury, finishing a length second to a filly who finished third behind subsequent Ribblesdale winner Earth Shot on her Newmarket introduction. That form reads well and the step up in trip should suit George Boughey's charge. Green Area and Alpinara can also go well.
Prediction : 1st Brunhilde 2nd Green Area 3rd Alpinara

REGIONAL ROCK has an absence to overcome but still rates as the one they've all got to beat. He created a nice impression in a couple of starts last year, including when winning on debut at Windsor, and connections have found their gelding a really winnable opening for his return. Dark Angel Light and Sand Sea are the ones expected to put up the most resistance.
Prediction : 1st Regional Rock 2nd Dark Angel Light 3rd Sand Sea

RUBY RED GOVE got back in the winning groove when switched to turf at Pontefract earlier in the month and strikes as the type who could still have plenty more improvement in her. She gets the nod ahead of Photosynthesis, who showed a bit more at this track last time and now sports first-time cheekpieces. Zubaru is another to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Ruby Red Gove 2nd Photosynthesis 3rd Zubaru

Although unable to win in four outings at this venue, Beale Street has filled the frame on his last three starts. The five-year-old is only 1lb higher than his latest second over C&D and another bold bid is forecast, but AL MUQDAD edges the vote. David O'Meara's gelding returned to form when finishing third at Ayr and he makes slightly more appeal racing off an unchanged mark. Shazani, Bella Bisbee and Magic Music are others to note in an open contest.
Prediction : 1st Al Muqdad 2nd Beale Street 3rd Shazani

Having found himself too far back when finishing a never-nearer third on his stable bow at Kempton in March, compensation could be on the cards for RIZAL. The four-year-old should enjoy this longer straight and a return to 1m2f shouldn't pose any issues. Finlaggan wasn't beaten far on his latest fourth at Pontefract and he's feared most, ahead of Superfortress, who shouldn't be far away judged on his penultimate outing when second at Beverley.
Prediction : 1st Rizal 2nd Finlaggan 3rd Superfortress

BLACK ENDEAVOUR won off this mark at Nottingham last August and produced his best run this season when third over C&D off a 1lb higher mark last month. This looks to be a suitable opportunity for him to get back to winning ways. Pennine Way didn't get home over 7f at Yarmouth on her handicap debut and the drop in trip is likely to suit, while Lamlash Bay is open to improvement.
Prediction : 1st Black Endeavour 2nd Pennine Way 3rd Lamlash Bay

Despite the small turnout, a case can be made for all three runners. The penny hasn't yet dropped for Wardlaw but Sir Mark Prescott should get the best out of him soon enough. La Tosca finished second at Ayr last Friday and should go well, but the vote goes to REEM RAK. After disappointing on her return at Nottingham, Roger Varian's filly bounced back to fill the runner-up spot when stepped up to 1m4f at Ffos Las and her pedigree offers plenty of hope that the extra yardage here is within reach.
Prediction : 1st Reem Rak 2nd Wardlaw 3rd La Tosca
