Steve Ryder has two tips across Tuesday's racecards at Musselburgh and Salisbury.
3:00 Musselburgh
Haayimm is interesting on his handicap debut but preference instead goes to HIGH DEGREE (best priced at 11/8) who has run well on both of his starts this season. The William Haggas trained four- year-old was gelded over the winter prior to finishing 2 nd behind Hand Of God at Newbury over 1m2f and finishing 3 rd beaten less than two lengths by Beagle Bay at Sandown over a mile.
High Degree runs here off the same mark but drops down in grade at a track where his trainer has a good record (35-108) 32% strike rate in his career. He should reward punters who keep the faith given he has been beaten favourite on his previous four starts.
3:37 Salisbury
The Clive Cox trained ADDISON GREY (best priced at 11/8) was a comfortable 17 length winner over this course and distance last season and has run with credit on all three starts this season. He finished a head 2 nd on his reappearance having been gelded before finishing 2 nd behind subsequent Wokingham winner Double Rush at Newmarket.
Addison Grey was only beaten 1 ¾ lengths when a close 5 th at Newbury last time but now drops down in grade to this Class 3 0-95 handicap off top weight. He should remain competitively handicapped off a mark of 94 and can get back to winning ways.
