IMPERO has struck gold five times over the smaller obstacles and should benefit from his recent debut over fences. The Cian Collins-trained gelding only weakened in the closing stages into fifth on his chasing bow at Kilbeggan and can take a step forward to strike. Scalpnagoon has gained plenty of experience over fences this year, including when second at Ballinrobe last month, and he is one to take seriously. Soir De Garde won with ease at Tramore in April and is respected on his first outing in this sphere, while Wendrock needs to show a lot more if he wants to get involved.
Prediction : 1st Impero 2nd Scalpnagoon 3rd Soir De Garde

TEQUILA TALKIN' won a maiden hurdle here last summer and again showed her liking for both this venue and good ground when beating all bar Butter Fingers over C&D last month. That form has been advertised since and she remains on a competitive mark. Mercury Mission gained two of his three hurdle wins at this track and needs to be considered after his runner-up effort in this sphere at Tramore. Henry de Bromhead saddles three runners and riding arrangements suggest point-to-point winner Trasna Na Pairce is preferred. Femme Magnifique, Mic Drop and Party President are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Tequila Talkin 2nd Mercury Mission 3rd Trasna Na Pairce

SEA OF DOUBT showed a fair amount of ability over hurdles last year and built on that to open her account when reappearing at Downpatrick last month. The daughter of Affinisea occupied the runner-up berth at the same venue latest and now reverts to fences off a lower mark. Benzine ran a cracker on his last chase start when beating all bar Mic Drop at Limerick, with L'amiral Fromentin back in third, and has shown promise on both hurdle outings since. Jouster won three times for Gavin Cromwell, including over fences, and is also of interest off an attractive mark.
Prediction : 1st Sea Of Doubt 2nd Benzine 3rd Lamiral Fromentin

TEENAGE KISS certainly appreciated the step up in distance when scoring by over two lengths at this track last month and she is likely to have more to offer. The Conor O'Dwyer-trained mare filled the runner-up spot on her only point-to-point start and is an interesting recruit to fences. Harbour Highway also carries the colours of JP McManus and rates a threat having won at Leopardstown earlier this year. Menas Miracle won here over hurdles last summer and stayed 2m6f well when successful over fences at Tramore last time.
Prediction : 1st Teenage Kiss 2nd Harbour Highway 3rd Menas Miracle

FARFROMNOWHERE won a bumper at this venue and added two victories over hurdles before switching to fences last season. The point-to-point winner kept good company on both chase starts, including when runner-up to Kala Conti at Cork. Future Prospect, who also struck between the flags, impressed when making all in a Fairyhouse bumper and also taking a Naas maiden hurdle. She was joined by eventual winner Emily Love when falling two out on her chasing debut at Tramore, where Beauforts Storm and Pampar Lady finished close up in second and third respectively.
Prediction : 1st Farfromnowhere 2nd Future Prospect 3rd Pampar Lady

ROCKONLIAM added to a Killarney maiden hurdle win when reappearing after a winter break to take a 2m4f handicap at Listowel. The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding is a full-brother to Scottish Grand National winner Captain Cody and is an interesting recruit to fences. In The Trenches ended a frustrating run of placed efforts when taking a Downpatrick maiden hurdle and has plenty of experience over fences. Kashchei, Ned In The Park, Rockstown Girl and Sophia Rose are others to consider in this chase for horses rated 110 or less over hurdles.
Prediction : 1st Rockonliam 2nd In The Trenches 3rd Ned In The Park

COSTACURTA easily won a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle last year and was also placed on a couple of occasions, including at this venue. The Milan gelding showed a tendency to jump left when switched to fences on his reappearance at Tramore last month and should be better suited by this track. Point-to-point winner Chichester Park had both Howdoyalikeherhome and Londonofficecallin well behind when runner-up on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan, although the latter has since put up a much-improved effort when beating all bar Le Coq Hardi at the same venue. Maxi Mac Gold and Garnacho are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Costacurta 2nd Londonofficecallin 3rd Maxi Mac Gold
