UK Horse Racing Tips: Leicester

Tim Easterby's charge placed in a tougher selling race at York when last seen over 6f and can confirm running with Tamam Star. Not at his best on the Knavesmire, the latter can finish closer with Jack Nicholls' allowance helping his cause, while Dream On Kent could be in the mix on these terms.

This looks between the penalised winners with ANYASI making most appeal. Roger Varian's charge made an impressive return to action when scoring easily at Yarmouth last month and this faster ground shouldn't be an issue for the son of New Bay. Lingfield winner Bucklow Hill has been gelded after a poor effort at Doncaster in April. Better is expected from him, while Two Commanders is another to consider.

Upped in distance here last time, KAMEEL had gone close when runner-up over today's trip at Redcar prior to that. The winner has subsequently gone in again, so another bold bid looks likely from Jessica Macey's charge. Beryl's Girl opened her account when scoring at Brighton recently. She could make her presence felt, despite a 5lb rise, and makes more appeal than Chepstow winner A Daughters Love.

SAYIDAH ALEEN has improved with each start to date, having filled the frame on a couple of occasions at Lingfield, and the daughter of Ten Sovereigns makes plenty of appeal on her handicap bow. Q T Pie returned with a solid runner-up display at Goodwood last month and she is likely to enter calculations, while Amelia's Joy and Carefree Dream appear best of the remainder.

FRANTIC didn't appear to get much luck in the closing stages at Thirsk on her most recent start and the return to 7f may help to get the daughter of Frankel off the mark at the sixth time of asking. Mr Writer shaped as though a drop back in trip would benefit when fifth over 1m at Goodwood on his latest outing. Eduardo Calderon and Loquella can fight it out for the minor honours.

LITTLE TED has been edged out on two of his last three starts now but can show the younger legs how it's done this time around. The three-year-old contingent will need to improve, but perhaps a drop in trip can see Aurelune in a better light given that she weakened approaching the furlong marker at Nottingham. Moonhall Lass recorded a cosy success over 7f here recently and merits plenty of respect along with the in-form Melissa Honey, but BRIDGET'S BABY makes greater appeal this time around. Tony Carroll's filly broke her duck over the minimum trip at Lingfield last time and is sure to progress further, not least at 6f. A 5lb rise looks fair and Myla Coppins gets on well with her.
