The nine-year-old has been acquitting himself well in handicaps recently and this may be the opportunity he has been waiting for.

RADAHN showed a fair amount of promise when filling the runner-up spot on his debut at Wolverhampton and the son of Dark Angel can build on that experience by going one better on this occasion. Better Nature is capable of being in the mix following his third at Leicester last month, while others for the shortlist include Parading and Telegraphic.

Prefer The Sister was behind him here before winning in fine style a week ago. She enters the reckoning, while Rainbow Sorbet remains unexposed on her fifth career start.

This looks a suitable opportunity for James Owen's charge to follow up and he's fancied to repel chief threat Annexation. The veteran arrives on the back of a C&D second and a similar performance should see him in the thick of the action once more. Bownder may fare best of the remainder.

That said, GRAFFITI's handicap form looks more solid and he could prove to be slightly better treated dropping into classified company. Myna finished fourth in a similar contest at Lingfield on his most recent outing and is a feasible alternative, along with the lightly-raced Mist Of Time.

Having scythed his way through the field to score over C&D, another bold bid is forecast from RORY ROCKET. A 4lb rise in the ratings is effectively negated by Jude Fernandes' 7lb claim and he's fancied to fend off reopposing runner-up Kento once more. Tony Carroll's gelding subsequently finished a respectable third at Windsor and he's unlikely to be far away. Faustus could also feature judged on the pick of this season's form.
