Third in his sole point-to-point outing in April, he has since joined Dan Skelton and may have a decent opportunity to make a winning start under Rules. Maria Mes is preferred over Little Twig of the remainder.

Saucats arrives following a recent C&D success and is likely to enter calculations after going up 3lb. The veteran Coup De Gold won here over shorter last month and cannot be discounted once again, but a chance is taken with RAFFLES NOBU. Nick Scholfield's gelding was runner-up to a subsequent winner at Stratford last time and is capable of going one better.

The Gypsy Davey and It's A Breeze can fight it out for third.
