The 73 rated Nevasca Cinza and 69 rated Queen Sana look vulnerable to an improver and that appears to be the Ralph Beckett trained STAR VELOCITY (best priced at 10/11). The three-year-old filly finished 3rd beaten only 2 ½ lengths at Southwell on her debut over 6f despite a tardy start.
The form of that run has been boosted by the third Planet Seeker winning a handicap at Newmarket on Saturday off a mark of 85 by 3 ½ lengths. Star Velocity needs to prove that this drop in trip to 5f will suit but she should step forward from her debut run and looks the one to beat with Rossa Ryan taking over on board.

The Sweet Escape 5/4 (1pt)
The David Loughnane trained THE SWEET ESCAPE (best priced at 5/4) won over this course and distance a fortnight ago and he should prove hard to beat off only a 3lb higher mark. The four-year-old was dropping to a trip below a mile for the first time since August 2025 when justifying favouritism over this course and distance last time.
The Sweet Escape won comfortably by ¾ length off a career low mark of 60 and he races here off only a 3lb higher mark. That was in a 0-65 handicap and he now runs in this 0-70 handicap off top weight but should prove hard to beat from Stall 3.
