Dolo's Star can be forgiven one bad run at Leicester given her previous form was pretty good, most notably when beaten less than a length into second two starts back. Princess Honey Bee is also a player on her return to the fray.

SANDY CRAIC produced an improved performance to score at Carlisle and proved that was no flash in the pan when posting a solid second at Beverley last time. Now that the penny has dropped, David O'Meara's charge can continue her progression and register another victory. Hatamoto won't go down without a fight following his all-the-way Beverley success, while Lady Britain is another interesting contender.

Park Lane Penny arrives on the back of a close-up second at Ayr and is not to be dismissed, with Langholm possibly the best of the older horses.

Ivan Furtado sends two here looking for success, though Crown Of Dreams may be the stable pick with Silvestre De Sousa booked to ride. She will need a step up after finishing tenth at Doncaster but drops significantly in class for her handicap debut. CAPTAIN CESS arrives on the back of creditable efforts in defeat at Chepstow and Wetherby, and he looks the one to beat. Misemerald and Coconut Bay are others for the shortlist.

Barley makes most appeal of the rest in a wide-open contest.
