Ellie Gartlan looks to have a big chance on her first ride since taking out a licence. The 10lb claimer partners BIT OF A BUZZ, who has been knocking on the door and went close at Bellewstown last time when third to Grayrobin. Shafters Legacy showed improvement when third in a maiden here last month and could be a danger on her handicap debut. Santorini Storm has been running in some decent maidens and is another to note off a lowly enough rating of 63.
Prediction : 1st Bit Of A Buzz 2nd Shafters Legacy 3rd Santorini Storm

BYE BYE NOW was a winner over this distance at Dundalk back in March and has run well on both starts since. Second at Bellewstown two weeks ago, she gave it a good go from the front and is taken to go one better. Spirit Of Eagles won this race in 2023 and was runner-up 12 months ago. She clearly has a chance again along with Shamanka, who was only a neck behind her when they finished third and fourth respectively here last month.
Prediction : 1st Bye Bye Now 2nd Spirit Of Eagles 3rd Shamanka

WEST OF EDEN might get his turn. His sixth at Leopardstown last time has worked out very well, with the subsequent Royal Ascot winners Nola Soul and King Of Cloughan finishing first and second and the third horse also winning. This is unlikely to be as strong a race and Aidan O'Brien's charge should have the beating of recent Bellewstown runner-up Cashel Queen. Belicoso goes up in trip after a fair effort at Listowel and could prove pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st West Of Eden 2nd Cashel Queen 3rd Belicoso

HAMIYAN has solid claims back in maiden company after contesting a handicap at Leopardstown last week. He ran on well to finish fourth on that occasion and Dermot Weld's charge is likely to be suited by this longer trip. Camelot Queen was third on soft ground here last month. That form received a timely boost with the runner-up Vauntingly winning well at Killarney earlier this week, while Chosen One ran with some promise in a maiden at Naas and is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Hamiyan 2nd Camelot Queen 3rd Chosen One

MASEGO was a winner over this distance at Leopardstown in May and went well again on his first start for trainer John McConnell when third over a furlong less at Bellewstown two weeks ago. The runner-up in that race went very close to winning at Limerick since. Numidia has finished well behind Masego twice already this season and enjoyed another winning turn over a longer distance at Bellewstown. He must come into the reckoning now. Top-weight Banna Three wasn't beaten all that far in a charity race at the Curragh late last month, his first start in over a year. Searcog went well on his seasonal reappearance at Leopardstown in April and he goes back up in distance for this.
Prediction : 1st Masego 2nd Numidia 3rd Searcog

The hat-trick seeking TEOLOGIA should be all the rage in this five-runner affair. She was well on top when successful over the extended 1m2f on good ground here at the end of May and was better again when following up over a similar trip here a month ago. The handicapper has had his say and the three-year-old is in a higher grade now, but she should still be up to the task and this step up in distance could bring out more yet improvement. Beauparc was nicely in front of Stellar Quality when they finished second and third respectively at Gowran Park at the beginning of June but neither landed much of a blow at the next time of asking and both wear cheekpieces for the first time now.
Prediction : 1st Teologia 2nd Stellar Quality 3rd Beauparc

It might be significant that connections are happy to let AUGUSTA ROCK take his chance just four days after an improved effort at Killarney. He showed very little on his seasonal reappearance on soft ground at Sligo in early May but was much better behind Chicago Moon over an extended 1m3f on Monday evening and there could be more to come over this longer distance, with blinkers now tried for the first time. Sea Of Dubka ran her best race on her first try over 1m4f at Cork in April and she must have every chance, along with Chapel Island, who is also up in trip after an improved showing at Naas.
