TIP 1: SONG OF THE CLYDE - 0.5pt EW

Best odds of 5/1 at William Hill while publishing.

The three-year-olds have been running well in the likes of the July Cup and I am hoping the only representative from the classic generation in this race SONG OF THE CLYDE (best priced at 5/1) can win this contest. The Clive Cox trained colt has shown improved form in all of his nine starts including when victorious over this course and distance in May in the listed Carnarvon Stakes when beating Albert Einstein by a neck.

Song Of The Clyde was only beaten four lengths when 7 th at Royal Ascot in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup and he will no doubt appreciate this drop in grade to Group 3 level. He is joint top rated in this race but receives 5lbs from his elders and he looks sure to run well with multiple bookmakers still offering three places on the race.

TIP 2:- ROLLTHEDICEBABY - 0.5pt EW

Best odds of 13/2 at Ladbrokes whie publishing.

The Richard Hannon stable have won this race a record eleven times with Sean Levey twice doing
the steering on board Happy Romance (2020) and Gubbass (2021). He has chosen to ride
ROLLTHEDICEBABY (best priced at 11/2) from the five contenders from the stable this season off a
low weight of 8st10lbs.
Rollthedicebaby ran well to finish 2 nd on her debut behind Armor Supreme, who has boosted the
form since, over this 5f trip before getting off the mark in impressive style at Goodwood over 6f by 3
¾ lengths. She is drawn low away from the majority of the other main contenders which is a slight
negative but she should run well with five places widely available.

TIP 3: Where’s Freddy - 0.5pt EW

Best odds of  5/1 at PricedUp while publishing.

The Stuart Williams trained WHERE’S FREDDY (best priced at 5/1) has a good record at this course
with three of his four career victories coming at this track. The six-year-old won in June last year off
a mark of 79 and also ran well to finish 3 rd off a mark of 83 in August.

Where’s Freddy has slightly disappointed on his two starts so far this season but now returns to his
favourite track off a mark of 77. That is 2lbs below his last winning mark and with Marco Ghiani back
on board, he should be involved in the finish.

TIP 4: - MOON WARP - 1pt Win

Best available odds of 6/4 at bet365 while publishng.

MOON WARP (best priced at 6/4) looks a stereotypical Sir Mark Prescott improver and an opening mark of 61 could significantly underestimate him. The well-bred son of Sea The Moon cost 150,000gns as a yearling and despite showing very little in his four starts so far, he will no doubt prove a different proposition this season.

Moon Warp now steps up in trip from 7f to 1m2f for this handicap debut on his first start for 318 days. He is unexposed and can make a winning return.
