A 5lb rise in the ratings for the six-year-old's latest victory over track and trip is unlikely to prevent another bold bid, but it could be worth chancing the up-in-distance CHARGING THUNDER. James Owen's inmate is a decent stayer on the Flat and this longer trip over timber could unlock the necessary improvement. Campaign Trail is dangerous to discount reverting to a sharper course.

A 4lb rise for Captain Cool's 20-length romp over C&D looks more than fair and he isn't taken lightly given his upward trajectory. The former gets the vote after her Worcester triumph and there should be more to come with the cheekpieces retained.
