BUCKLAND BELLE has been placed in all three starts since she made a winning debut on turf at Windsor in May and that reliability earns her the vote here. Lope Y Linda has also been dependable and is unlikely to be too far away if she matches anything like her best, while Able Astra and Ivat Ghia won't need to raise their games by much to be the best of the rest.

LIVEINTHELIGHT is the obvious one after a couple of wins at Ffos Las and a near miss at Nottingham sandwiched in between. Given the daughter of Teofilio had plenty in hand last time, a 6lb penalty might not prevent her from going in again. Caraway looks to be the biggest barrier in the way, despite being unable to justify favouritism last time out. Any support for the handicap-debutant Musical Accord would be dangerous to ignore.

Ricardo Phillips wasn't disgraced when third over 1m4f at Epsom at the start of the month and remains of interest, despite this drop in trip. Kameel lurks on an attractive rating and is one to note, but the vote goes to TYPEFACE. Ian Williams' charge failed to justify favouritism when hitting the frame over a mile at Ffos Las, but could show improvement for this step back up in distance in first-time cheekpieces.

It's hard to get away from ZEN DIVA, who successfully completed a double in fine style over this trip at Salisbury recently and is now 6lb higher. With the potential for more to come on just her second appearance in handicap company, she looks the one to beat. Cotai Belle has found one too good in each of her last three outings, most recently at Carlisle, and should remain competitive. Wolverhampton victor Miss Nightcap completes the shortlist.

Landslide has shown very little in his three starts in maiden/novice company, but could prove a completely different proposition now that he steps into handicaps. PIMENTEL has run well the last twice, finishing second and third respectively, and the daughter of Pinatubo looks to have been found a good opportunity to strike. Apex Star is a player based on his runner-up effort at Bath two starts ago and is worth a second look.
