Course fourth Burning Impact gets a first-time tongue-tie and could improve, while Foxy Night also comes into calculations.

Division two of the maiden can go the way of DOVECOTE. Ralph Beckett gave his gelding plenty of time to recover and strengthen up after a moderate effort on debut at Chelmsford last November and his return performance at Lingfield last month was much more like it. Beaten just a neck into second that day, he's more than capable on that form and there is plenty of scope for further improvement. Of the others, keep an eye on Conspiracist and Gran Ventura.

Having posted several creditable efforts in defeat in class 2 company, this drop in class may prove just the tonic for RLASTHOPE. The Tony Coyle & Kaine Wood-trained gelding arrives on the back of third at Epsom and a repeat performance may prove sufficient. Newbury third Beresford Gap is heading in the right direction and is an obvious danger, while Harry Who may fare best of the remainder.

Ayr fourth Too Many Spirits may fare better on this return to 6f and his previous efforts in defeat suggest that he can land a race of this nature. However, ENAMORED opened with a promising third at Yarmouth and any improvement switching to the all-weather could enable a breakthrough victory. Little Mester offered something to work with on his fourth-placed debut at Leicester and is a feasible alternative.

Although a faller on his most recent outing over hurdles at Uttoxeter, ZUCAYAN's penultimate start when runner-up at Ludlow showed that plenty of ability remains intact. A step up in distance on his return to the level could prove just the ticket in a contest that may not take much winning. Urban Warrior has posted three creditable efforts in defeat this year and he's feared most, ahead of Saachi.

Sir Mark Prescott's handicap newcomer Si White merits the utmost respect despite his wide berth, and Alcanzor is no forlorn hope now fitted with first-time cheekpieces.

Michael Dods' filly will need to prove herself on an artificial surface, but she will have an outstanding chance of going one better if doing so. My Mate Mackley and Havin A Flyer both occupied the runner-up spot most recently and are unlikely to go down without a fight.
