There was give in the ground when MARGOT MAE ran her best race to date and perhaps conditions will suit as she seeks her first success on her handicap debut. On her second start, she finished third on soft at Leopardstown, only a neck behind subsequent Group 3 winner Alpha. While she couldn't match that effort in a hot maiden on better ground next time, this looks a lesser task. I Ready pipped Seven Nation Army to win a similar race over 6f at the Curragh and both clearly have their chance again. Bold Commander takes a considerable step up in trip after recent outings at Bellewstown and when a beaten favourite at the Curragh.

Any rain that falls will suit BLACK CAVIAR GOLD. She has been at her best with an ease in the ground, with a Group 3 success at the Curragh last season the highlight. She showed up well in the Irish 1,000 Guineas before struggling in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot where conditions would not have suited. The winning run of Meriden stretched to five with her Listed victory at Killarney and she should go well again. Celtic Motif wasn't winning out of turn last time and she could play a part, with Pivotal Attack another to consider on the pick of her form.

The four-year-old WILD BILL HICKOK was well on top when reversing earlier form with long odds-on favourite Workahead to win at Roscommon in early June and might just follow up. His experience over fences should stand to him and he's taken to defy his 4lb penalty. Soir De Garde made his share of mistakes when winning on his chasing debut at Wexford, but he could well do better this time and rates as the danger ahead of Shadow Paddy. He is another with a 4lb penalty to carry after his wins at Limerick, where he beat Le Coq Hardi, and Killarney.

MIDNIGHT JET had a number of subsequent winners behind him when landing a 25-runner maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse on Easter Saturday and he impressed once again when making all to win a novice hurdle at Killarney in May. He's taken to complete a hat-trick on his return, possibly at the chief expense of Roc Dino, who ran well for much of the way in the Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival before easily winning his maiden hurdle at Downpatrick. Brother Walfrid and Rosie's Wings won their maiden hurdles on the same day at Punchestown in early June and the latter represents Ross O'Sullivan, who has won this race for the past two years.

EL CAIROS was a little bit disappointing in the big novice hurdles in the spring, but could be nicely treated now trying handicap company for the first time. The No Risk At All gelding was fancied for the Supreme, but was a bit one-paced in fifth that day and finished fourth subsequently at Punchestown. He still has upside and, after a little break, he could prove a class act here. Last year's winner Ndaawi returns in fine form and is another with a live chance for Gordon Elliott. Willie Mullins runs five and Too Bossy For Us, who ran a big race here on Monday in the amateur handicap, could be an each-way play turning out again.

PINK OXALIS ran well in this last year when a staying-on fourth and could strike. She did well to finish as close as she did then after missing the kick and returns off the back of a good run at the Curragh when chasing home the progressive Kirkland Sioux. Hygge is seeking a hat-trick after victories in a Flat maiden and a maiden hurdle. The form of his Killarney win has been boosted by the runner-up since and he looks on a fair mark. Molto Amichi gained an overdue win at Killarney and is another to consider, although an 8lb rise makes life tougher.

British raiders tend to be well handicapped compared to their Irish rivals and JUJUBELLA is an interesting contender here. The Too Darn Hot mare is a consistent sort and has been knocking on the door recently off similar marks. Arch Enemy attempts to complete a hat-trick. She had slipped to a nice figure this year and a rating of 70 still looks competitive on the pick of her previous form. Rodeo Blues is another bidding for a three-timer and the three-year-old has to be respected. She takes another step up in trip, which could unlock further improvement.

DIEUX DILIGENCE looked the one to take out of the race when finishing fourth on his debut at Punchestown and he can improve enough to score. The Saddex gelding was green, but finished off really well. He is fancied to turn the tables on Sir Vinny, who finished a place ahead of him and has been runner-up at Bellewstown since. Flashy Fred also has strong placed form and has to be on the shortlist, while the Willie Mullins-trained newcomer Run Ted Run commands the utmost respect.
