Willie Mullins' charge was dropped 3lb after that effort, which could seriously underestimate his true ability now back in handicaps. Rocky's Howya has racked up quite the record in claiming hurdles and the veteran remains of interest, but Sallap looks a bigger threat having notched up back-to-back wins at Clonmel and Limerick. Justatan was well held in third at Sligo but he might be capable of better in first-time cheekpieces.

JOURNEY SO FAR was a bloodless winner at Tramore in May and Gavin Cromwell's gelding, who remains open to plenty of improvement over fences, looks more than capable of following up from a mark of 112. Golden Temple was second over hurdles here on Wednesday but did record a chasing triumph at Kilbeggan the start prior. He merits respect along with the likes of Jukebox Johnny and Saunton Surf, while the top-weight Soldante is no back number either.

BLOOD DESTINY was far from disgraced when conceding 10lb to the winner at Listowel in June and he's taken to build on that runner-up effort back in handicap company. Willie Mullins' charge supplemented a Grade 3 victory at Naas earlier in the year with a creditable second in a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse and his class may shine through. Le Nez Creux made a pleasing stable debut when finding only one too strong at Ayr in April and this extra distance promises to suit. The five-year-old is feared most, ahead of Wexford winner Lisleigh Lad.

Having tasted glory here earlier in the week, another bold bid is forecast from Orandi. However, a 7lb penalty may be enough to stop Tony Martin's veteran and allow the reopposing runner-up PIERRE ROYAL to reverse the form. Adrian McGuinness' gelding races off an unchanged mark and compensation could be on the horizon. Jagged Edge wasn't far behind the selection in third and isn't easily dismissed, although a drop in distance might not be in his favour.

After a promising debut at the Curragh, STAR GLORY finished just in front of a subsequent winner when runner-up over this trip at Leopardstown. Noel Meade's filly has been inclined to get upset in the starting stalls, but hopefully that won't be an issue on this occasion. Seaxburh is the most experienced runner in the race, which will be a big asset around this unique circuit, and has solid claims after a pair of runner-up efforts at similarly right-handed tracks. Someday Somewhere was a long way behind the winner when third at Leopardstown. There was market support for the Persian Force filly and she can take a step forward with that experience banked.

IAMIMMACULATE had good form at the back-end of last season and should come on from his reappearance at Roscommon where he showed up well over a longer trip. With the inside draw and the champion jockey on board, the Coulsty gelding can defy top-weight. Felix Somary left behind some moderate efforts when placed over 1m2f at Navan and may be better suited by this trip. Nephin Mountain ran wide on the home turn when winning at Ballinrobe and was value for more than the narrow winning margin. Four of these are due to run over a mile here on Friday and the outcome of that race might have a big bearing on the market.

Linford had five and a half lengths to spare over CAISLEAN GEAR at Roscommon in June when recording his second success in bumpers. Willie Mullins' runner was building on an easy debut victory at Killarney and there is little doubt that he will go off a short price in his bid for a hat-trick. Even though the latter is 4lb worse off for this rematch, the locally-owned runner has garnered more experience since and put behind him a disappointing run at Limerick when making all at Killarney. Mindyourheadmike has switched stables since landing a gamble at Clonmel, while the form of Farney Bridge's big-priced win last month was let down by the runner-up on Thursday.
