Jazzy Blue, Lushill and MINNAL all boast similar profiles and it's highly likely one of those three fillies will win this maiden. Style King showed his appreciation for the step back up to this distance when successful at Wolverhampton, although that form isn't really working out. He still commands attention, but perhaps ELVETHAM is worth another chance because he has been performing with credit on turf and is happier on an artificial surface. That latter comment also applies to Phoenix Moon, in contrast to Just Jump, who has a better record on grass.

Russian Rumour started the season with a bang at Nottingham and followed up with a decent third here. Her last couple of efforts haven't been as smart and, even though she may do better for the drop back from 2m, TABASKO and Taritino are preferred. Ed Walker's filly is six years younger than Russian Rumour and lost nothing in defeat when possibly finding Doncaster's extended 2m just beyond her. Taritino goes up in trip and is in fine form, whereas Scarlet Moon is on a retrieval mission following a heavy Goodwood defeat.

KOKO BLUE has been placed on all three starts since joining Tom Clover and the handicapper has given her a big chance by leaving her on an unchanged mark. Reverting to turf shouldn't be an issue for the daughter of Kameko, who also has scope to improve over the trip. The generally consistent Gearing's Point is feared most, although Hope Rising and Douglas Dc are effective under both codes and should also figure.

Gert Lush is another on a competitive mark and is a must for the shortlist, while Monks Mead also commands respect.
