The five-year-old has run well on all five of his starts this season including when victorious at Wolverhampton in April off this mark of 74.
Newfangled finished fourth when last seen at Windsor off a mark of 76 and the handicapper has been generous in dropping him 2lbs for that five length defeat. Back down to his last winning mark of 74, he looks sure to run well.

TROUBLESOME GUEST (best priced at 11/2) hasn’t quite fulfilled the potential of her debut effort but this drop back to 5f could be exactly what she needs to show her best. The George Margarson trained filly finished 3rd beaten only 1 ½ lengths by the 92 rated Jolivette on her debut at Newmarket before running too keen over 6f in the listed Windsor Castle Stakes and Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes on her next two starts.
Troublesome Guest didn’t get a clear run when only 5th in a nursery last time but she has been dropped 3lbs for that down to a mark of 75 and crucially not drops to 5f for the first time. She looks overpriced at current odds.
