Well treated at these weights, the five-year-old will get few better opportunities to add to his sole previous win. A winner here two starts ago, Hexagonal can be forgiven a subsequent below-par run at Galway. Off the mark when dropped into this grade at Roscommon last time, Mo Anam Chara has every chance of following up.

Second to a subsequent Listed winner at the Curragh on her penultimate start, MALLAVELLY can go one better. Having again run a solid race when third upped to a mile last time, the Ger Lyons-trained mare should appreciate dropping back a furlong. A lightly-raced daughter of New Bay, Rebel Wave looks open to further improvement. Off the mark at the Curragh last month, the form of that race has already been boosted. Rion Rubette shouldn't be ruled out despite a poor recent effort at the Curragh.

It could pay to take a chance on course and distance winner MOREHAMPTON. Rated as high as 90 after that success in August of last year, the Johnny Murtagh-trained gelding has seen his handicap mark tumble of late. Having shown definite signs of returning to form when running better than the bare result at Limerick last month, the Sea The Moon gelding could outrun his likely odds here. Summer Snow is another that has a much lower mark these days. Also hinting that she was on the way back with a more encouraging run at Down Royal in June, the Peter Lawlor-trained mare enters calculations. Fairyhouse winner Caitouna catches the eye in first-time cheekpieces with Colin Keane back on board.

Course and distance winner GILTS can follow up off 7lb higher. A lightly-raced daughter of Cotai Glory, the Dick Brabazon-trained filly was making her handicap debut when scoring here in June. Giving the impression that she could have more to offer, the three-year-old should have benefitted from that experience and the subsequent short break. Killarney fourth Sayonara drops back a furlong here but that may well prove a positive step as the gelding only weakened inside the final furlong. Ballinrobe maiden winner Glamazon has dropped to a tempting mark and the Jessica Harrington-trained filly also wear a first-time visor.

A maiden winner on his recent debut at Killarney, the Paddy Twomey-trained CITY OF DUBAI can follow up. Given that runners from the stable tend to improve from their initial start, it was surely significant that the Mehmas colt was good enough to strike at the first time of asking. Well entered up in Group races in the coming months, he is clearly a smart prospect that can maintain his perfect record. Sergei Diaghilev won his maiden at the Curragh before being a beaten favourite in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot last time. He looks the obvious danger to the selection. Bellesque came forward from a promising debut second to win at Leopardstown and is the choice of Dylan Browne McMonagle of the Joseph O'Brien pair.

A four-time previous scorer, the Johnny Murtagh-trained gelding boasts the highest official rating in this field and also has the services of leading apprentice Rory Mulligan. Granted a better break and clearer passage in running, the seven-year-old can get back on the winning track. Unbeaten in three starts in his native Poland, Felix Guido failed to beat a single rival on his Irish debut at Naas in April. Given time to recover, he could be dangerous to underestimate. God Of Power looks best of the remainder.

Lightly-raced handicap debutant Forthill has to be respected. A four-year-old filly, the Paddy Twomey-trained representative would have every chance if reproducing her Curragh third from last November. Ms Messi won this race when it was run at Tipperary last season. Although absent since November, she shouldn't be ruled out on her reappearance.
