SHODA has won twice on the Flat and currently holds an official rating of 88, but she has generally been a shade disappointing over hurdles. However, a reproduction of her third to Ballyfad in a maiden at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting should be good enough. Lilannbee struck in a bumper at Punchestown last winter but was let down by her jumping when switched to hurdles at Wexford last month. Hopefully she will have learned from that initial experience and rates more of a threat than Searcog or Santa Paula.

COSMOS D'AINAY has obviously had some training issues but did win a Sligo bumper in fine style last year and again impressed when reappearing after a lengthy absence in a Cork maiden hurdle last month. The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding was left clear after two out for a convincing victory and the fourth, Easter Bonnet, gave the form a boost at the same venue on Monday. Malbay Madness had Chanceawetmorning well behind when scoring over C&D in June and may pose more of a threat than Trasna Na Pairce, who is now fitted with first-time blinkers after failing to sparkle over fences the last twice.

A chance can be taken on KALSMAN, who won in this sphere off a 6lb lower rating at Down Royal in April and remains on a workable mark. With a previous course victory to his name, he looks the way to go. Gortmore Lady made the frame over track and trip last month and a similar effort would see her go close. Parkgarve sports first-time blinkers and is another to note.

THEFLYINGBEE hasn't finished outside the frame in each of her last three appearances, most recently filling the runner-up at Clonmel and she only has a 2lb higher mark to contend with. Despite the step back up in distance, she looks the one to beat. Two-time course winner Gangster Granny won by over five lengths in a novice event over C&D latest and has to be respected back in handicap company. Cobra Queen is the pick of the remainder.

YOUNG DORAN outran his odds of 33/1 when shaping with lots of promise to find only one too good at Ballinrobe in May and is bound to take a step forward from that display. The son of Kingston Hill looks to have found a good opportunity to get off the mark. Thesilverbridle made a pleasing start under Rules to finish second over 2m4f at Wexford and will appreciate the step up in trip, while Magical Sal isn't out of this either.

GEORGIA CELENA ticks plenty of the right boxes given her current form and a second career victory may beckon. The eight-year-old arrives on the back of a close-up second over 3m at Wexford and a drop back in distance shouldn't pose any issues. My Good Pal wasn't disgraced on his latest fifth over fences at Kilbeggan and is feared most reverting to timber, ahead of Speakasyoufind, who would prove a live threat if reproducing his runner-up effort at Clonmel in June.

Having finished sixth in a stronger bumper at the Galway Festival recently, Martymill should prove more competitive in this weaker affair. That said, the son of Getaway is up against a couple of potential improvers in Loves A Laugh and CULLDOO, with preference for the latter. Willie Mullins' filly posted a solid third on her debut over slightly shorter here and there should be more to come.
