Bellatina boasts plenty of experience and may well have found firm ground too much at Bath last time. She is respected along with Desert Sands, who has faced some stiff tasks to date.

Radiance had valid excuses when finishing last at Ayr on her nursery debut last September, having got upset in the stalls and being found to have had a slight niggle post-race, but she might face a stiff enough task on her return to action. Asset got off the mark at cramped odds on her latest start at Pontefract and is open to further improvement. That said, the claims of SPIRIT OF ATHENE are difficult to ignore. A winner here as a juvenile in December, the daughter of Time Test has since taken her form to a new level with a narrow defeat at Salisbury before going one better at Sandown, and Ed Walker's filly should be able to cope with a 5lb rise.
