It's hard to get away from SPEED FOR FUN, who would have made a winning start for the Willie Mullins yard if he hadn't fallen at the last when four lengths clear at Listowel in May. Second at Cartmel subsequently, a reproduction of that performance will make him very hard to beat. Ballybollen failed to justify favouritism when fourth on his sole bumper start at Ballinrobe, but he could prove a different proposition now sent over timber. Of the remainder, Ivatt makes the most appeal.
Prediction : 1st Speed For Fun 2nd Ballybollen 3rd Ivatt

Liberated Light struck by two lengths when last seen in this sphere here in May and has to be respected after a couple of spins on the Flat, but the vote goes to INA MINA. Terence O'Brien's mare benefited from a change of tactics when making every yard of the running to score at Cork on her return to the fray and, if in similar form, she will prove a tough nut to crack. Last year's victor Surviving Murmansk completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Ina Mina 2nd Liberated Light 3rd Surviving Murmansk

LADY LENA wasn't able to land cramped odds when beaten a head into second in a bumper at Wexford last October, but she now makes her hurdling debut and could prove a cut above these. Goodmancon didn't convince with his jumping when third at Roscommon and will be looking for a smoother round if he wants to get into contention, while connections of L'as De Watt reach for a first-time tongue-tie in the hope of bringing out some improvement.
Prediction : 1st Lady Lena 2nd Goodmancon 3rd Las De Watt

Willie Mullins holds a strong hand and this may be settled between stablemates Future Prospect, Straight Home and LA NOTE VERTE, with preference for the latter. The daughter of Australia shaped with promise on her third-placed chase bow over 2m5f at Killarney before looking to find an extended 1m7f at Wexford on the sharp side. She makes more appeal over this longer trip than Future Prospect, who is unproved beyond an extended 2m3f distance under Rules. Straight Home warrants close attention in the market on her return to action.
Prediction : 1st La Note Verte 2nd Future Prospect 3rd Straight Home

Having posted a good third when out of the handicap at the Galway Festival, WATCH THE WEATHER makes plenty of appeal in these calmer waters. The veteran is effectively 4lb lower if taking Paddy Cody's claim into account and a sixth career victory may beckon. A Snow White Park filled the runner-up spot on two occasions before unseating at the Ballybrit venue 19 days ago and she's feared most, ahead of That's About Right.
Prediction : 1st Watch The Weather 2nd A Snow White Park 3rd Thats About Right

None of these are without risk and with that in mind, PRESENTING LAD could be worth chancing. A C&D winner as a novice a couple of seasons back, the 10-year-old has dropped to a very handy mark and a revival could see him stamp his authority under top weight in a weak event. Ballinaboola Gold is still a maiden but switching to fences could be a source of improvement at this level, while similar comments apply to Bossing It, whose peak hurdles form gives him a fair chance.
Prediction : 1st Presenting Lad 2nd Ballinaboola Gold 3rd Bossing It

VILLAGE DREAM posted a respectable effort on her debut at Killarney and the Willie Mullins-trained mare gets the vote based on her potential to improve for her high-profile yard. Myluckymaker is more experienced and is one to keep an eye on in the betting on the back of a fair second at Clonmel when last seen. She debuts for new connections here and support in the betting would be noteworthy. The Two Mary's and Bluebell Breeze complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Village Dream 2nd Myluckymaker 3rd The Two Marys
