James Fanshawe's filly had Hamaleel (third) behind when victorious by just under a length over track and trip last month and if in similar form, she will prove hard to beat. Angels' Share is another to watch out for.

Forest Berry boasts lots of experience in the context of this field and will be looking to put that to good use, but it may pay to side with HALCON. Tim Easterby's juvenile shaped with promise when finishing third on her introduction at Ripon and, with normal improvement, she could be the one to beat. Any market confidence behind newcomer Heavenly Parole would be interesting.

Eight of the 10 contenders are making their handicap debuts and the one who appeals most is SYDNEY GRACE. The daughter of Minzaal took a pleasant step forward from her sixth at Yarmouth to score at Carlisle in June and an opening mark of 73 might prove to be lenient. Menhaal cost 260,000gns as a yearling and despite coming up short in his three career starts so far, he has to be respected in first-time cheekpieces. Green Titan isn't out of this either.

Having shed his maiden tag at the sixth time of asking at Kempton, further progress cannot be ruled out from Invincible Isaac. However, a 5lb higher mark does demand more of him and he could prove vulnerable to at least one of the nursery debutants. CAILIN AINE tops the shortlist after supplementing her Musselburgh triumph with a creditable fourth in a class 2 novice at York and an opening mark of 70 looks workable. Sea Palace and Greek Street are others to consider.

HECTIC signalled that he could be ready to win again when third at Southwell and he makes plenty of appeal off an unchanged mark. The six-year-old hit the frame on his last visit to this venue in April last year, but that effort came off an 8lb higher rating. Style King did little wrong when attempting to follow up at Lingfield and a further 2lb rise is unlikely to prevent another bold showing, while Chester winner Maharajas Express isn't easily dismissed either.

It might be worth taking a chance on JUNGLE DANCE in what looks an open contest. John Jenkins' gelding drops into classified company for the first time in his career and, perhaps notably, has Clifford Lee back aboard. Let's Go Hugo has been running with credit recently and is one of the more reliable options, while Megaphone looks certain to relish a return to sprinting.

PACE ATTACK didn't show much in three maiden contests, but he now enters handicaps from a modest opening mark of 67 and the son of Australia should be suited by a step up to 1m4f. There was little to separate James Choice (second) and Prince Of Calypso (third) at Southwell and both are drawn to go well once again. Don't rule out five-time course winner Optician, who arrives having occupied the runner-up berth at Redcar.
