(best priced at 4/5) to get off the mark at the second attempt. William Knight is having a good season with his two-year-olds winning 6 of their 22 starts (27% strike rate) with a further five placed efforts.

She was sent off only 9/2 for her debut at Doncaster when 3 rd beaten 2 ¼ lengths when she took up the running in the final furlong before fading slightly over the 6 ½f trip.

Romotoso should be able to get a good early position from Stall 2 under Taylor Fisher and I expect her to justify her short price.

TIP 2: Samra Star - 1pt

The Linda Perratt trained SAMRA STAR (best priced at 11/4) has won her previous two starts and she
should be able to continue her progress despite now switching back to the AW. The five-year-old defied odds of 25/1 to win at Ayr by a neck before winning comfortably last time at Musselburgh by 1 ¼ lengths when ridden more prominently off a mark of 58.

The handicapper has raised Samra Star 4lbs for that victory which is fair and she is now ridden for the first time by Oisin Murphy. She has a solid record at Wolverhampton in her career with form figures of 413143 and she looks sure to run well once again.
