HOPE RISING was allowed to dictate when landing an apprentice handicap at Nottingham by 19 lengths last week and is turned out again before the assessor has a say. Jamie Snowden's mare scored at Lingfield the week before and is expected to be too strong for her sole rival Sneaky Blinder, who took a step in the right direction when third at Kempton at the end of June.
Prediction : 1st Hope Rising 2nd Sneaky Blinder 3rd null

DELIGHFULLY HOT has improved with each start to date and the form of her runner-up effort at Sandown was boosted by the winner going in under a 7lb penalty at Beverley. This appears to be an ideal opportunity for her to get off the mark, although she faces some interesting opposition who are open to improvement. Heading that list is Soeur De Flash, who went close on debut at Windsor and Clive Cox arrives in fine form following an across-the-card treble on Saturday. Rogue Dakota and Sioux Moon are also respected.
Prediction : 1st Delighfully Hot 2nd Soeur De Flash 3rd Rogue Dakota

There was a lot to like about GROVE STREET's debut effort at Sandown when filling the runner-up spot and a repeat of that performance is more than likely to suffice on this occasion. Better is expected from Avionics after he pulled too hard on his latest start at Ffos Las, while newcomer Talamon has to be of interest being a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Fev Rover.
Prediction : 1st Grove Street 2nd Talamon 3rd Avionics

It's been a long while between drinks for Look Back Smiling, but the six year-old competes off 18lb below his last winning mark and there have been hints of a revival since he joined the Neil Mulholland yard earlier in the year. Any rain hitting the track would make the son of Fast Company a tempting proposition. On the forecast ground, however, RISEN AGAIN gets the vote after a good second at Yarmouth. Dropped 1lb, a repeat could suffice in this company. Rating and Ajrad complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Risen Again 2nd Look Back Smiling 3rd Rating

EVIE ROSS has faced stiffer tests and dropping in class could be a profitable move for the Clive Cox-trained top-weight. The yard has been in excellent form of late and this Coulsty filly is dangerous to underestimate. Rogue Exile is a notable danger on his handicap debut. The game winner of a maiden at Lingfield, he should have more to offer. Fellow last-time-out winners Von Trotter and Honky Tonk Girl also command respect.
Prediction : 1st Evie Ross 2nd Rogue Exile 3rd Von Trotter

CALAFRIO has thrived with two wins from four starts since joining George Baker and doesn't have much to find to add to the tally. This is slightly tougher than her latest success at Leicester, but she could again be hard to reel in. Vape won this race off 2lb higher last year and his course specialism makes him an attractive each-way proposition at the likely odds. Recent C&D winner Arnaz must also be feared with Billy Loughnane back in the saddle.
Prediction : 1st Calafrio 2nd Vape 3rd Arnaz
