GUADALEVIN has raced exclusively over 7f in her career to date and the drop in trip appears the right move. She was sent off a big price when not disgracing herself at all in a Listed event at Sandown and that effort sets the standard for the opposition to reach. Diamond New Bay was turned over at odds-on on debut when fourth at Thirsk, but it would be no surprise were she to leave that performance behind. Newcomers Ma Blushin Rosie and Sayidah Bahra head the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Guadalevin 2nd Diamond New Bay 3rd Ma Blushin Rosie

Aleatrix made a successful debut at Salisbury before finding a well-bred newcomer of the Gosdens' too strong when sent off at prohibitive odds at Newmarket. That winner was given a Listed entry at York this week so it may be wise to forgive Ralph Beckett's filly, but the claims of PEACE BELLE are difficult to ignore. She ran an excellent race considering her lack of experience when fourth in a Group 3 at York and wouldn't need to perform to that level to get off the mark in this sphere. Green Area comes from an excellent staying family that the yard knows very well, being a half-sister to Gold Cup hero Subjectivist and dual Group 2 winner Sir Ron Priestley, and she completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Peace Belle 2nd Aleatrix 3rd Green Area

It is hard to be confident about any of these, but a tentative vote goes to LONG SHOT. Tim Easterby's gelding has been mostly consistent and a 2lb drop for his latest fourth at Newcastle may well be enough to make the difference. Fate's Gambit is respected on his first appearance for Ruth Carr, while a wind operation might benefit the cause of Reenie's Dream.
Prediction : 1st Long Shot 2nd Fates Gambit 3rd Reenies Dream

HEY HAVANA has filled the runner-up spot on three occasions in 2026 and the application of a first-time visor may give him the opportunity he has been waiting for. The three-year-old remains on the same mark as his most recent effort at Ripon and is preferred to Supreme Dancer, who will need to settle better to finish his race off. Danrana and Big Apple Jack head the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Hey Havana 2nd Supreme Dancer 3rd Danrana

Stall two could be beneficial for NATIVE INSTINCT as he bids to follow up a cosy success at Musselburgh off just 3lb higher. This is no tougher and another bold bid can be expected with his yard riding on the crest of a wave just now. Recent Doncaster winner Commander Of Life hasn't fared so well with the draw but could still have an impact if he breaks sharply, while Lord Bertie is potentially well handicapped and is a notable each-way alternative.
Prediction : 1st Native Instinct 2nd Commander Of Life 3rd Lord Bertie

YELLOW DIAMONDS was comfortably ahead of the fifth-placed Maximum Velocity when she filled the runner-up berth at Thirsk 12 days ago and Julie Camacho's filly should be teed up nicely to go one better. Northern Tempest is a potential improver to consider on his first run after wind surgery, while the ex-Donnacha O'Brien-trained Kilmac Air has to merit a betting check on debut for new connections.
Prediction : 1st Yellow Diamonds 2nd Maximum Velocity 3rd Kilmac Air

KEEP AN EYE ON IT was fresh from a break when he won at Ayr and looks worth following under a 6lb penalty. That was just his third start in a handicap and further progress is plausible. The hat-trick seeking Between Me And U, along with the in-form Hostility, are others with obvious chances. Blufferonthebus is a C&D winner lurking on a dangerous mark.
Prediction : 1st Keep An Eye On It 2nd Between Me And U 3rd Hostility
