Minnie Hauk needs to bounce back from her effort in the aforementioned contest, when only beating one rival home, and last year's heroine is better judged on her second to Ombudsman in the Prince Of Wales's at the Royal meeting. Johanna Walsh fended off Inis Mor (second), Sparan Nua (third), Earth Shot (sixth) and Sugar Island (last) to win the Irish Oaks last month and she is a rising star that could also have a big say.

The progressive daughter of Dubawi should have plenty more to offer now handicapping and gets the tentative vote in an open affair. Oolong Poobong has a fighting chance off her current mark back as she reverts to 7f, but last year's winner Royal Velvet bids to repeat the dose off a 14lb higher mark and the less-exposed Tryst could prove a bigger danger bidding for a hat-trick.
