This should prove to be a straightforward task for PIKACHU. The son of Frankel finished a respectable third in the Superlative at Newmarket prior to his fourth in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood and Charlie Johnston's charge will likely start at prohibitive odds to open his account. Trumpety Trump disappointed over 6f here last time, so the newcomer Nice Neasy Does It, a half-sister to a 1m2f winner, could claim the runner-up spot.
Prediction : 1st Pikachu 2nd Nice Neasy Does It 3rd Trumpety Trump

William Haggas boasts an impressive strike-rate at the track, including last year's winner of this contest, and a bold bid is anticipated from WILD DAHLIA. The filly finished a creditable third at Redcar on last month's belated reappearance and, off an unchanged mark with that outing under her belt, she gets the nod. Porth Eilian won here in May and should give her running once again, while Saxon Grace has been making hay in lower grade events and could make the frame.
Prediction : 1st Wild Dahlia 2nd Porth Eilian 3rd Saxon Grace

Dual hurdles winner Nakassama was well beaten when fourth on the level at Galway last time, while the expensive purchase Flagbearer made no impression over a mile at Ffos Las on debut. The latter may well improve for this extra distance, but LORD D'OR looks the safest proposition. Andrew Balding's inmate has a string of near misses to his name, including his latest second over 1m2f at Windsor, but this looks a good opportunity to get his head in front.
Prediction : 1st Lord Dor 2nd Flagbearer 3rd Nakassama

Salamanca City has been in tremendous form this season and made it three wins from her last four starts when getting the better of Spioradalta at Ripon and the pair are likely to be competitive once again. Evanesco has been mixing it in valuable handicaps against his own age group and may appreciate stepping up in trip following his recent third at Glorious Goodwood. That said, the improving NOBLE HORIZON may yet have more to offer. He handled a 10lb rise for a comfortable Leicester success with a career-best effort when second at Goodwood and the extra yardage could be in his favour.
Prediction : 1st Noble Horizon 2nd Evanesco 3rd Salamanca City

Course specialist Jordan Electrics returned to winning ways at Ayr last month and the evergreen 10-year-old is likely to be in the mix once again, despite a 4lb rise. However, his stable companion ETERNAL SUNSHINE might just have the edge on this occasion after her latest runner-up effort over C&D. Canon's House was fourth in the aforementioned contest and might play a big role in proceedings.
Prediction : 1st Eternal Sunshine 2nd Jordan Electrics 3rd Canons House

Lipsink returned from a break with a fine effort to finish second to Twilight Calls at Sandown and that form looks strong given the fact the winner has gone on to win twice since at Newmarket's July Festival and Glorious Goodwood. Wreck It Ryley finished third at the latter meeting when having SIR GARFIELD (eighth) in behind, but the latter is taken to reverse that form having subsequently gone close at Epsom last Friday and is 2lb well-in as a result.
Prediction : 1st Sir Garfield 2nd Lipsink 3rd Wreck It Ryley

DANDY MAGIC was able to build on a series of encouraging efforts to score readily over C&D recently and she might have a bit more to offer in the cheekpieces applied on her last two starts. Winged Messenger is back on the same mark that saw him lift the Ayr Bronze Cup last year and there were positive signs at Doncaster last time, while Southwell victor Miraculous appeals most of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Dandy Magic 2nd Winged Messenger 3rd Miraculous

An open contest, but KING OF THE JUNGLE followed up on his Beverley triumph with a cosy success at Ayr and is probably still the one to beat despite a further 5lb rise in the handicap. Tanjen bolted up over C&D recently and as she escapes a penalty for that apprentice handicap victory, she remains of considerable interest. Doon The Glen isn't the most reliable but he possesses more than enough ability to feature in a race of this nature and don't rule out Jm Jhingree, who didn't stay 6f at Catterick.
Prediction : 1st King Of The Jungle 2nd Tanjen 3rd Doon The Glen
