Salamanca City has been in tremendous form this season and made it three wins from her last four starts when getting the better of Spioradalta at Ripon and the pair are likely to be competitive once again. Evanesco has been mixing it in valuable handicaps against his own age group and may appreciate stepping up in trip following his recent third at Glorious Goodwood. That said, the improving NOBLE HORIZON may yet have more to offer. He handled a 10lb rise for a comfortable Leicester success with a career-best effort when second at Goodwood and the extra yardage could be in his favour.

Course specialist Jordan Electrics returned to winning ways at Ayr last month and the evergreen 10-year-old is likely to be in the mix once again, despite a 4lb rise. Canon's House was fourth in the aforementioned contest and might play a big role in proceedings.

Winged Messenger is back on the same mark that saw him lift the Ayr Bronze Cup last year and there were positive signs at Doncaster last time, while Southwell victor Miraculous appeals most of the remainder.

An open contest, but KING OF THE JUNGLE followed up on his Beverley triumph with a cosy success at Ayr and is probably still the one to beat despite a further 5lb rise in the handicap. Tanjen bolted up over C&D recently and as she escapes a penalty for that apprentice handicap victory, she remains of considerable interest. Doon The Glen isn't the most reliable but he possesses more than enough ability to feature in a race of this nature and don't rule out Jm Jhingree, who didn't stay 6f at Catterick.
