Really Truly was never involved on her debut before finishing 11th of 12 at Tramore in a hood, but she is bred to be better than that, while it is noted that the hood is absent here. First Ascent finished second at Kilbeggan on his third start over obstacles, but was beaten 14 lengths and a chance is taken on BAILA CONMIGO. A three time winner on the Flat, if he takes to hurdles he could yet prove far too good for these.

Facile Ocean might prove popular after a 14 length win here over shorter, but he was possibly fortuitous when main challenger Whoyougonnacall took a tumble at the last. KATIE CAN'T COUNT was a beaten favourite on her bumper debut but is now sent straight over hurdles where the 7lb or more she gets from the previous winners is in her favour. La Cote Fleurie and Mino Des Mottes both have winning form and could also get into the mix where it counts.

Magic Day won here over C&D in April last year off 2lb lower, and after disappointing over fences, she returned to hurdles with a good second here last month. She can go well once more but this race usually goes to a younger contender. PARKGARVE reacted positively to blinkers when winning by 12 lengths at Downpatrick and although upped 9lb for that, if the headgear works again he could well make all the running. Bhean Saibhre, Pride Of Place, and Mysilverriverfeale also make the shortlist.

Henry De Bromhead bids to win this for the third time in succession and his Benner Wenner took a big step forward when runner-up at Wexford last month. The five-year-old will likely be thereabouts at the finish, but this can go to DAD SEZ. The son of Flemensfirth debuted over hurdles in a tougher contest than this at Galway and wasn't disgraced in fifth. Gordon Elliott's charge will be a lot wiser for that experience and is taken to open his account. Lady Felicia looks pick of the remainder.

ONE WAY TRAFFIC was having only his sixth start over the larger obstacles when picked off late at Roscommon. Well clear of the third, Oliver McKiernan's charge will be sharper for that first outing since May and looks one to keep on the right side of. Third over hurdles at Perth just six days ago, Broken Ice reverts to chasing off a tempting 7lb lower mark, while the recent Tramore winner Fr Gilligansvoyge is preferred to Joe's Turn, who won this in 2024.

CHARLIE LUCIANO found the competition too hot at Galway last time and will be more at home at this level. Noel Meade's inmate opened his account with an emphatic nine-length victory over these fences on his penultimate start and is taken to confirm superiority with the runner-up Scalpnagoon, despite the worse terms. The latter could make the frame once again, while Ira Hayes and Ceanndana could also shape well.

Ciaran Murphy won this in 2024 with Miss Dishy and he runs Hill Silver this season after the Hillstar gelding finished fourth at Galway last month. He will need a step forward from that if he wants to get the better of the interesting BAYMOUNT. The Blue Bresil mare returned to bumpers with a close up third at Wexford and a repeat of that might be all she needs. Bellahill has been absent since a point-to-point third in March 2025, and any market support could prove significant.
