The son of Sea The Stars is out of a half-sister to the multiple Group 1 winner Hunter's Light and it would be no surprise to see him play a leading role on his racecourse bow. Having cost 100,000 euros as a yearling, Astabuen is also considered.

Cases can be made for all of these, but marginal preference is for ZIGHY. The daughter of Mehmas looks sure to appreciate a return to 6f having found 5f at Ffos Las last time too sharp and the three-year-old remains open to further improvement. Powdering could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Adalida and Shallow should not be discounted.

She failed to settle and lost a shoe when returning the losing favourite at Newbury last time, but Ed Walker's filly is better judged on her earlier handicap debut when finishing a close second at Redcar. Port Darwin just prevailed in a lower grade contest at Brighton last time. This is tougher, so the Nottingham winner Emma's Letter could prove a bigger threat having shaped well again when third at Lingfield.

Zurna should have more to offer after making a winning handicap debut at Epsom and beating a couple of subsequent winners in the process. Saying that, RIZAL has made rapid strides since joining George Scott's yard and landed a double when successful at Hamilton last time. He pulled readily clear on that occasion and there looks plenty more to come over the trip. Parisian Scholar drops in class and may edge out Patrol for third.

Rogue Citation rallied well in the closing stages over C&D a fortnight ago to record a battling win. Hilltop was only a length away in fourth and it should be close between that pair once again, but BAMI may edge a tight contest. Tom Dascombe's unexposed filly was making her belated seasonal debut when scoring at Newbury in June and that form looks stronger in hindsight given the runner-up has won since. Allegrino and Miss Gallant are others to note.
