Beaten a length when second at Wolverhampton over this trip in July, he followed that with a close fourth here over shorter and appears to be the one to beat. Angel Breeze is worth a check in the betting ahead of her handicap debut, with Lady Of Clover also considered.

LAST TRUMP steps up in trip for his handicap debut after being well beaten over 1m2f at Salisbury and, as a son of Derby winner Sir Percy, there is every chance he can improve considerably for a test of stamina. Hebridean Nomad was only beaten a head over C&D but hasn't been seen since February, while Mountbatten is another to take seriously.

Third behind a winner now rated 86 in a nursery at Doncaster last time, the son of Naval Crown faces an easier assignment back at this level and could prove tough to beat. Shemiyla Star will appreciate this return to 7f, while Norham gave the impression this extra distance would suit when fourth over 5f at Chepstow on debut.

The finishing line came just in time for Timely Affair at Southwell last month, when holding off the late challenge of DANNICK. Stuck behind a wall of horses, the latter flew home once seeing daylight and the son of Havana Grey may well turn the tables on this occasion. Lady Manzor is finding it difficult to get her head back in front but is usually in the mix at this level.
