The 113-rated Minella Post held every chance in second at Cork in July before departing at the penultimate flight. He has since been pulled up in a valuable handicap hurdle at Galway, but is a danger if putting it all together. Colliers Quay could improve from an opening fifth from a bumper in Ballybrit on this switch to hurdling.

MANOIR DE MIRANDE has only posted one below-par performance this year and has accrued two wins and six places in that time. He is the highest rated and avails from Joshua Halford's 7lb claim. The form of his victory in Ballinrobe and his runner-up spot in Sligo has been franked. O'grady Cracker has been a revelation over this sort of trip as he has posted wide-margin victories in Kilbeggan and Cork. The handicapper is trying to get to grips with him by hiking him up by 13lb, although there could be another victory in him with the visor retained. Ocean Murphy receives plenty of weight from the aforementioned pair and is in form, while Houndsworth could outrun his odds.

Stepping up in trip may suit COOL NATIVE. The Westerner mare stayed on from the rear when third at Downpatrick last month and with an official rating of 109, she sets the standard. Stablemate Goodgollymissholly won a bumper on her penultimate start and has to be respected, but giving weight to her rivals is a tough task. Amina was turned over at a short price in Downpatrick last time but had some decent bumper form and is another to note.

PRINCESS FELICIA has run well on her two outings since joining Harry Kelly and may be able to strike now. She rallied gamely when headed over the last at Tramore 11 days ago and was only beaten a neck in the end. Phildante scored at Wexford last month and she could go well again after just a 4lb rise for that victory. Gerrys Wish ran well at Wexford last time, when chasing home Set The Tone, and is another for the shortlist.

MA JACKS HILL is still unexposed as a chaser and could be the one on these terms. The 5lb penalty picked up for winning at Punchestown in June is more than countered by Joshua Halford claiming 7lb from the saddle, which gives the six-year-old a solid chance at the weights. Addragoole has faced stiffer tests and is respected on that basis, while any support for the chasing debutant Bunting may prove significant. Switching to fences could open new doors for the Willie Mullins-trained gelding.

JEROBOAM MACHIN's recent Galway second in a maiden hurdle was a big step back in the right direction. Emmet Mullins leaves off the tongue-tie and cheekpieces, which were applied for the first time on his last start, but the seven-year-old still holds a definite chance on his chase debut. Mickie Angel could make his experience count in a race of this nature, while similar comments apply to Jolie Jewel.

MASTERTOWN MISS shaped well when staying on for second on her debut over hurdles at Clonmel and again ran with credit in the Goffs Defender Bumper at Punchestown, despite weakening late on. Harry Kelly has booked Adam Ryan, whose 5lb claim combined with any progression could help the four-year-old get off the mark. Newcomer Zara's Dream may pose a significant threat, with the market likely to offer further clues. The Walk In The Park filly commands respect given the potent combination of Patrick and Willie Mullins. Elegantemente, a 90,000-euro two-year-old by No Risk At All, would also be interesting if supported in the betting.
