FLORIDA DREAMS (best priced at 3/1) has frustratingly been well backed overnight but I think he has outstanding claims of recording his first success on the flat. The eight-year-old won the Grade 2 Bumper at Aintree in 2023 when trained by Nicky Richards but his previous three starts have all come in flat maiden races.
Florida Dreams ran well over 1m3f on the first two occasions before unsurprisingly getting outpaced over 1m1f last time. He now steps up in trip to 2m2f on his handicap debut off a mark of 70 and he could make a mockery of that mark with Kevin Stott, who rode him on his first two flat starts, back on board.

Harry’s Hill 9/2 (1pt)
The Martin Hassett trained HARRY’S HILL (best priced at 9/2) has form figures of 311 at Bellewstown in his career and is actually 5lbs lower than his previous success at this track. The eight-year-old hadn’t won for over a year prior to his victory at the Curragh last time under Paddy Harnett off a mark of 69.
The handicapper has raised Harry’s Hill 4lbs for that win which is fair and that remains below his four winning marks prior that victory. This return to Bellewstown isn’t an inconvenience and he looks the one to beat under similar conditions.
