The filly ran well to finish a close 2 nd on her debut before getting off the mark over this course and distance on her second start in a novice race.
Diamondinthedark disappointed on her reappearance at Lingfield when tried over 7f for the first time but then was only beaten a short head when 2 nd at Ffos Las last time when dropped back to 6f. The handicapper has only raised her 1lb for that run and she looks the one to beat in a first-time tongue tie.

This looks a competitive 0-80 handicap but preference goes to BOLD SHOUT (best priced at 7/4) who was an impressive winner at Salisbury when last seen. The Clive Cox trained three-year-old showed dramatic improvement from his first two career starts having been gelded since his last run in June.
This step up in trip to 7f should suit Bold Shout better than the 6f trip he won over last time and he should prove hard to beat off an opening mark of 70.
