This is open and only a tentative vote can be afforded to REGAL TIGER as a result. Hugo Palmer's colt finished second to a subsequent winner on his nursery debut at Windsor and while a 3lb rise looks fair, it is the step up to 7f that could be the making of him. Mobadir was well on top despite the winning margin at Nottingham and is another that should benefit from a rise in distance. Golden Oasis, Sovereigns High and Mino are just a few others of interest.
Prediction : 1st Regal Tiger 2nd Mobadir 3rd Golden Oasis

The Crisford's have their string in great nick and their representative FLICK OF AN EYE could continue that trend. The son of Blackbeard, whose price increased significantly when purchased at a breeze-up sale in April, makes plenty of appeal and may well be good enough to make an immediate impact. Perfect Strike failed to make an impact on his debut but improvement is likely, as should be the case with Crusherman. Solar Swing might be worth more than a cursory glance in the betting too.
Prediction : 1st Flick Of An Eye 2nd Perfect Strike 3rd Solar Swing

Cases can be made for a whole host of these, but a tentative vote can be afforded to SATURN STAR. The 125,000gns purchase has an interesting blend of speed and stamina in his pedigree but this should be a fine starting point, and his rider Hector Crouch could hardly be in better form at present. Others to note include Battleworthy, Kingdom Of Kush and Martaban.
Prediction : 1st Saturn Star 2nd Battleworthy 3rd Kingdom Of Kush

SOMERS ISLES made her way through the pack to fill the runner-up spot on debut over 7f at Newmarket last month and will have learned a great deal from that experience. With Oisin Murphy now doing the steering and the likelihood of improvement, she looks the one to be with. Bidsta changed hands for 380,000gns in April and needs to be monitored closely in the betting on her introduction. Starburster is the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Somers Isles 2nd Bidsta 3rd Starburster

Home Hero made it two wins from his last three starts at Haydock earlier in the month and holds an obvious chance again, but the one who appeals most is CLOUD FOREST. The son of Blue Point has occupied the runner-up berth in novice company the last twice, most recently over 1m3f at Kempton. This drop in trip looks the right move and an opening mark of 83 is unlikely to be beyond him. The hat-trick seeking Accademia completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Cloud Forest 2nd Home Hero 3rd Accademia

With his rivals looking exposed, BOLD SHOUT is the one with the most scope for progression on his handicap debut. Having won a novice event at Salisbury a fortnight ago, despite not appearing to be at ease on the course, an opening mark of of 70 could underestimate the son of Starman. The consistent Lion of Mali must be taken seriously based on recent form, while Brisk Symphony is a previous course winner that commands respect now the handicapper has cut him some slack.
Prediction : 1st Bold Shout 2nd Lion of Mali 3rd Brisk Symphony

LIVEMORE stepped forward from a very green effort at Nottingham on his debut to win with plenty in hand at Newmarket last month. That was a visually impressive display and, with his pedigree suggesting middle distances should suit, stepping up a couple of furlongs is a logical move. The hat-trick seeking Empirical has improved since his stamina has been more emphasised with headgear added. He again looks a key player. Edwin Hubble only went up 3lb for his Sandown win and also merits close inspection.
Prediction : 1st Livemore 2nd Empirical 3rd Edwin Hubble
