LILY PINK boasts the strongest piece of form on offer. The daughter of Cracksman made an encouraging debut when just failing to reel in the winner at Newmarket and that experience should stand Charlie Johnston's filly in good stead here. Sixth over 7f at this venue on debut, Majestic Flame will be a lot wiser today and can build on that, while Roku Nana can include a Listed winner among her five winning relatives and is a newcomer to note.
Prediction : 1st Lily Pink 2nd Majestic Flame 3rd Roku Nana

GHOST MODE won nicely over C&D last time, despite hanging left in the closings stages, and it could pay to stick with Andrew Balding's charge raised only 4lb. He's expected to confirm superiority with the runner-up Ironwill and the progressive Forty Years On rates a bigger threat to the selection as she was having her first start of the year when landing a decent handicap at Newbury. David O'Meara has won three of the last six renewals and the Haydock winner Pellitory is another to bear in mind.
Prediction : 1st Ghost Mode 2nd Forty Years On 3rd Pellitory

A winner over 1m2f at Pontefract last time, High Degree looks worth a try over this extra distance. He'll likely be thereabouts if lasting home, while Tony Montana also steps up in trip on the back of finishing a respectable fourth here. However, TOO SOON is proven over the trip having returned the convincing winner over 1m4f at Epsom in June and the son of Too Darn Hot is taken to defy a 6lb rise.
Prediction : 1st Too Soon 2nd High Degree 3rd Tony Montana

A decent field headed on official ratings by ZAVATERI, who is rated 3lb superior to Seagulls Eleven yet receives 6lb from his older rival. Turning out quickly after finishing fifth behind Notable Speech at York last week, his Group 1 form gives him every chance of a fifth career victory at a course he won at as a juvenile. Boiling Point is admirably consistent and looks all set for a place, but Fast Tracker might be the one for second.
Prediction : 1st Zavateri 2nd Fast Tracker 3rd Boiling Point

The William Haggas-trained EVENING CALL could be the one. Bred to be better over this trip as a daughter of Wootton Bassett, she finished last of three at Newmarket on debut over a mile, running on late and showing plenty of promise. Tropical Sands is getting better with experience with her Haydock second making her the main danger, while newcomers Marquetry and Queen Of Scotland are others to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Evening Call 2nd Tropical Sands 3rd Marquetry

ZACHARY HICKES just gets the vote in what appears to be a wide-open contest. The unexposed four-year-old won narrowly over an extended 1m3f on his handicap debut at Yarmouth recently and this step up in trip could bring about further progression. Gooloogong's third in the Goodwood Handicap last month gives him a big chance down in grade, while Arcturus Flame was second to the selection most recently and is another with strong claims.
Prediction : 1st Zachary Hickes 2nd Gooloogong 3rd Arcturus Flame

TOCA MADERA's effort at York a week ago can be forgiven and his previous efforts in defeat suggest that he could play a leading role on this occasion. That includes a fifth in the Stewards' Cup over 6f here and the five-year-old is 1lb lower. Dyonisos caught the eye when unlucky in running over C&D a month ago and should not be underestimated, while Naana's Sparkle and Democracy Dilemma complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Toca Madera 2nd Dyonisos 3rd Naanas Sparkle
