He has less than a length to find with the winner Under The Twilight and may well take his revenge, but another chance goes to SUPREME KING. The six-year-old did well to finish a close fifth at Chester, considering his high draw, and David Evans' charge looks to have a much better opportunity here based on his earlier success in a higher-grade sprint at Salisbury.

MADMAN holds strong claims of landing a C&D hat-trick. He has an 8lb hike to contend with but such was the ease of his latest success, the son of Due Diligence may well go in again. Saucy Jane is another on an upward trajectory, having won two of her last three outings. She could be thereabouts at the finish, while cases can also be made for both Moving Force and Angel Gabriel.

With a distinct lack of winning form to call upon, MISS MONEYPIT has to enter calculations having shown the will and ability to score over 5f at Lingfield last month. Not beaten too far on both starts since in better company, and with Tom Marquand booked, she could get back to winning ways. Crowned was a solid second at Brighton off this mark and seems a danger to all, while Sovereign Dawn is interesting in first-time cheekpieces on his nursery debut.

Tenability should prove popular after his third in a Group 3 at Deauville, but he kept on late that day and the drop back in trip may not suit. Ghostwriter was a high-class juvenile, but has failed to win since and a chance is taken on WHITE BIRCH. A Group 1 winner, he has his first start since being gelded, undergoing wind surgery and a move to Jamie Osborne. If new surroundings can rekindle the old fire, he would be far too good for these.
