Steve Ryder shares three standout bets for Sunday's racing cards at Goodwood.

TIP 1: FLIGHT TRACKER - 1pt
Best odds of 11/4 at Unibet while publishing.
This looks an above average novice race but the standard is set by FLIGHT TRACKER (best priced at 11/4) who finished 2 nd on his debut at Sandown. Despite that being only a four runner race that day, it
looked a strong contest with the winner First Law expected to run in either the Dewhurst or Royal Lodge later this season.
Flight Tracker himself holds an entry in the latter and I thought he was unlucky to only be beaten ahead on his debut when carried right inside the final furlong by the winner. He was a NR on good to soft ground at Chepstow so it remains to be seen if connections will let him run on this surface but he is extremely interesting if allowed to take his chance.

TIP 2: RHOSCOLYN - 1pt
Best odds of 9/2 at bet365 while publishing.
The David O’Meara trained RHOSCOLYN (best priced at 13/2) won at Glorious Goodwood last season on soft ground having run at the meeting two days earlier and I am hoping connections allow him to take his chance in this race despite running yesterday. He was only 8 th beaten 6 ½ lengths over 7f yesterday on ground officially described as good but it has deteriorated significantly since the second race of the day.
Rhoscolyn’s three previous victories at this track have come on either soft or heavy ground but crucially over a mile rather than seven furlongs so this race should suit him much better. He is drawn better in Stall 4 and gets Danny Tudhope, who has ridden him in his two previous victories, back on board.

TIP 3: PUROSANGUE - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 11/2 Paddy Power while publishing.
PUROSANGUE (best priced at 11/2) has a frustrating record of 2-25 for a horse so talented but he has now dropped to a career low mark of 93. The five-year-old has been running with credit since joining the Robert Cowell stable and now returns back to Goodwood, a track where he was a neck 2nd behind Big Evs in the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes as a juvenile.
Purosangue won a listed race on soft ground at York in October 2023 so this surface shouldn’t be an inconvenience to him and he should be suited by this step back up in trip to 6f. He should run well with four places widely available.
