Kodicall took the silver medal home over an extended 5f at Bath on his penultimate start and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. However, a chance can be taken on newcomer FLAG OF NATIONS, who changed hands for 35,000gns as a yearling and is related to a few winners. Perola sets the standard with an official rating of 71 and isn't out of this either.

A chance is taken ESCAPE MAGIC handles any cut in the ground. Owen Burrows' unexposed filly failed to see out a mile at Salisbury last time, but she included a C&D success in an earlier winning double and has plenty of scope for further improvement. It was soft going when Prince Ali scored over a mile here in June and the veteran could make his presence felt, while Ajrad has won three times here and is potentially well treated if back on song.

Roger Teal's filly put a string of seconds behind her when successful at Lingfield recently, and she returns to the turf with solid claims having won off today's mark last season. Angel's Call scored at Ffos Las in June and a repeat effort would put her in the mix, while Eye Of The Water and Marisitta are others with a shout.

REVELANCE resumed winning ways with a cosy victory over C&D last time. That was only her third start of the season, so it's feasible the daughter of Blue Point has even more to offer this term and she's taken to defy a 4lb rise. Nakaaha (second) and Spirit Of The Bay (third) have something to find with the selection on latest running, but the admirably consistent Eutropia could prove a bigger threat.

Course regular and last year's winner Some Nightmare could land a blow off the back of a recent second here, but MAGNA has the stronger recent form. The latter finished a solid fourth in a more competitive sprint at Windsor last time and Tony Carroll's inmate is only 1lb higher than when landing a hat-trick on the all-weather earlier in the year. Control Room and Level Up are also feared.
