Although James Owen's charge isn't taken lightly reverting to turf, the down-in-class DIVINE KNIGHT edges the vote. The five-year-old appeared to do too much too early when weakening into fifth at Newmarket and a reproduction of his previous efforts in defeat this season may prove sufficient. Unexposed Haydock winner Edward Sexton is a feasible alternative.

ALMEKAREM returned to form with a good second at Salisbury and compensation could be on the cards. That was only the four-year-old's fifth start on turf and a 2lb nudge up in the ratings looks more than workable. Perfect Scoundrel arrives on the back of a C&D victory, although a 6lb rise does demand more of Amanda Perrett's charge. With that in mind, a bigger threat may emerge from Double Red, who scored here at a similar time last year.
