Despite his advancing years, the eleven-year-old GARDEN OASIS (best priced at 9/2) can record the fifteenth victory of his career. The Tim Easterby trained gelding is a seven-time course and distance winner who has placed on all three of his previous starts with two of those coming at this track.
Garden Oasis finished a head 2nd here in July off a mark of 72 before finishing 3rd last time off a mark of 71. He has dropped down to a mark of 70 for the first time since a victory here in July 2024 and he looks sure to run well with four places widely available.

The Sir Mark Prescott trained VARIETY ACT (best priced at 9/4) makes his handicap debut after a 195 day break and he looks the one to beat with Luke Morris back on board. The three-year-old finished a neck 2nd on his debut at Chelmsford before disappointing on his next start when sent off an odds on favourite.
Variety Ast ran well last time when 4th beaten 2 ¾ lengths at Kempton over 7f shaping like this step up in trip to 1m1½f on his handicap debut should suit well. An opening mark of 71 could underestimate him and he looks the one to beat from Stall 3.
