Richard Spencer's charge performed well for second on debut at Newmarket and was then deemed good enough for the Super Sprint at Newbury, where he was sent off favourite and caught the eye staying on strongly into fourth, less than a length behind winning stable companion Zigazig Ah. The step back up in trip should suit and he can prove too strong for Anna Belardo and Tree Wizard.

KEN BRULEE bounced back to form courtesy of an all-the-way Chepstow success and might be able to do the same here on a track that favours front-runners. The Feminine Urge showed a bit more at Windsor following a lacklustre Ffos Las display and it was only three starts ago that she was beaten a neck into second at Lingfield. Anglesey Lad is another to note.

SISTERS IN THE SKY is no stranger to success at this track and the C&D winner has been knocking on the door of late, both here and at Windsor. It's surely just a matter of when rather than if he wins a race like this and the seven-year-old gets a confident vote while clearly on good terms with himself. Honour Your Dreams and Rogue Rebellion can also get involved.

Course scorer FANCY DANCER has posted a couple of solid seconds at Wolverhampton either side of a heavy defeat when out of her depth at Newmarket. If judged on those all-weather displays and assuming she'll cope with the quick turnaround, the Hayley Burton-trained filly ought to be bang there at the business end. Call Time will make a race of it, and the veteran Recon Mission cannot be dismissed.

Basilette has held her form generally quite well and could still be nicely treated on the level, even though she has gone up 1lb for a Salisbury second when she was beaten the best part of three lengths. Just Adair is better than he was able to show at Ffos Las and the cheekpieces go on, but FRAM CASTLE's stamina is more assured because he went agonisingly close at Lingfield before picking up minor money at Newmarket. He remains on a handy mark and could be ready to capitalise.

C&D winners Blue Hero and Havana Club help to give Adrian Wintle a strong hand and precious little separated them here two starts ago. Malakai Kite is interesting on his handicap debut, but BUCKLAND BELLE has been such a model of consistency this season and the decision to turn her out quickly following last week's Windsor near-miss can reap reward.

Aravalli proved she can win away from her beloved Chepstow when digging deep at Windsor, although she will find this more competitive. Mythical Bird also showed good resolution to prevail at Salisbury so the extra quarter-mile shouldn't be a problem, a remark that applies to Asset too. Quebella has slipped to a handy mark, but another chance is given to PIERIAN because she got no luck at Glorious Goodwood and acquitted herself well in a French Listed race prior to that.

OFFIAH'S BOY has found his form in the last month or so, gaining compensation for a narrow defeat here by landing the odds at Lingfield before making the frame at Epsom. He is a dual C&D winner and is preferred to Belle Amie, who has also tasted success over this track and trip and went some way to putting a subsequent Newmarket disappointment behind her when third at Lingfield. Shaffron has been freshened up since a solid Salisbury effort and remains open to improvement.
