Out of a half-sister to two stakes winners, the selection could be inconvenienced by softening ground but has solid recent form and contests a winnable maiden. He finished a half-length behind Annie Batt on his penultimate outing but is now 3lb better off while that rival, who admittedly debuted in that Bellewstown race, disappointed here subsequently. Best Love has fair recent form at this trip, while Gus Mccrae is out of a half-sister to Group 1 winner Red Cadeaux.

AMERILIS has been penalised 13lb for winning last month, but remains open to further improvement. Out of a half-sister to Group/Grade 1 winners, Gillian Scott's filly has improved at this trip and scored easily at Cork. She has more on her plate and would ideally prefer the ground to remain good, but she is a progressive three-year-old. Harry's Hill is a 10-time winner and 5f specialist, and should compete from 4lb higher than when scoring at the Curragh last month. Bad Boy Rizz is also a C&D winner, and Gotta Catch'em All has tasted success here too. Prairie Girl wasn't beaten far in a higher-grade handicap recently, while Beach Barbie debuts on turf and in handicaps.

TIMURSHAH has won four consecutive handicap hurdles and can now make use of his Flat rating on his first start in a handicap in this sphere. The five-year-old has been a revelation since joining Aidan Melia and while this distance may stretch his stamina on the level, his triumphs at the Galway Festival have increased his hurdles rating to 132 so he should go close from a Flat figure of 73. Day Trader finished a solid second at Galway and should run well again now going back up in trip. Murat was only narrowly beaten by the Galway Hurdle fourth at Killarney recently but has top weight, while Friary Road ran well twice at Leopardstown in July.

LET'S SMASH IT has recent form and drops down in distance in a winnable maiden. A 90,000-euro breeze-up purchase last year, he has performed well four times and although vulnerable to smart types, he meets mostly exposed rivals. Elusive Path has also run consistently and the form of his Killarney third was boosted by the winner scoring at the Curragh. Xirivella, out of an Italian Listed winner, ran well in a tongue-tie at Naas, with the form boosted by fast-finishing fourth Acula scoring next time, and indeed defeating Let's Smash It. Emiza finished fifth in that Naas race and ran well at Dundalk subsequently.

Having come in for support when finishing fourth at Leopardstown last time, CANNONBALL QUEEN can record a first career win. Wearing first-time cheekpieces on that occasion, the Shane Duffy-trained filly stayed on well towards the end to get within a length of the winner. The same headgear is retained here and an additional furlong looks like it could bring about further improvement. Perfect Judgement has yet to replicate the pick of last year's form but went close when runner-up at Gowran recently. A reproduction of that effort would see the Inns Of Court gelding go close. Dinamine has a tendency to miss the break but would be a threat to all if getting away on terms.

Having shaped with promise on his latest two starts, THOMPSON GUNNER can make the breakthrough on turf. A previous winner at Dundalk, the Cian Hughes-trained gelding is well handicapped on that form, while the presence of Colin Keane in the saddle is a definite plus. Another who has shown his best form on an artificial surface, Moyassr has to be respected on his stable debut for Ado McGuinness. Having landed a first win on the grass at Fairyhouse in May, the five-year-old ran well on a couple of subsequent starts. Bellewstown scorer Micasso hasn't reproduced that form of late but has to be of interest in a moderate affair.

NO MORE PORTER has decent each-way claims in an ultra-competitive affair. Largely consistent in recent starts, the Ado McGuinness-trained gelding should enjoy the big field and likely fast pace. While he will need plenty luck in-running, the eight-year-old will be at his best weaving a passage through runners and, provided he gets the gaps where it matters, he can belatedly land a fourth career win. Only One Scobie was an all-the-way winner at Killarney last time. Having been raised 8lb by the handicapper, the Paul Flynn-trained gelding won't find it easy here but has to be respected. Lightly-raced Leopardstown maiden winner Halon Bay is also worthy of consideration.

Runner-up at the Curragh in July, the Dermot Weld-trained SUNATIA can step up a place. Having been slowly away when never involved on her introduction at Naas the previous month, the Night Of Thunder filly subsequently showed vast improvement to get within two lengths of the winner. Given that the latter went on to take a Listed contest at Gowran on her next start, the form of that Curragh maiden looks strong. A well-bred daughter of St Mark's Basilica, Serendipia is heading in the right direction and she may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Saxony Charms, who catches the eye with first-time blinkers applied.
