ZIMMERMAN was an easy winner at Ripon on Tuesday and as long as this doesn't come too soon, a 4lb penalty is unlikely to be any barrier to further success for Tim Easterby's gelding. Gentle Warrior hasn't been in great form this season, but he did win the corresponding event off 2lb lower 12 months ago and merits respect. It would be unwise to rule out the unexposed Easwrith Destiny, who has shown an aptitude for soft underfoot conditions previously.
Prediction : 1st Zimmerman 2nd Gentle Warrior 3rd Easwrith Destiny

This is a good opportunity for all four of these in truth, but a chance can be taken on the unknown quantity MY GIRL DEE MO. By Almanzor, she's likely to relish ground conditions and it's quite interesting that she holds an entry in the Fillies' Mile at this stage. Girl Scout flattered to deceive at Carlisle but stepping up to the mile could suit, while similar applies to Princess Lottie. Highland Girl is the likely pace angle and she could also do better with some cut in the ground.
Prediction : 1st My Girl Dee Mo 2nd Girl Scout 3rd Princess Lottie

Ripon debut winner ETONNANTE struggled when pitched into the Duchess Of Cambridge at Newmarket, but she's been given some time off since then and has had wind surgery so she should be up to defying a penalty. Californian Angel is probably the main threat given that she was far from disgraced in a Newmarket Listed affair, although Marsala should not be underestimated.
Prediction : 1st Etonnante 2nd Californian Angel 3rd Marsala

Tip Foster is a fascinating contender on his handicap debut after building on an encouraging Pontefract debut to score at Thirsk in June. The drop back to 6f looks an interesting move and although he is open to improvement, the vote goes to WILD CLARY. The four-year-old had enjoyed a consistent season until a below-par effort at Ripon, but the drop in grade and the notable booking of Clifford Lee gives him every chance of bouncing back. Milford completes the shortlist after his latest second at Hamilton.
Prediction : 1st Wild Clary 2nd Tip Foster 3rd Milford

CREATIVE QUEEN produced her best effort in handicap company when beaten a nose at Yarmouth three weeks ago. The prospect of softer ground, which she gets for the first time since breaking her maiden at the same venue in May, further enhances her claims and William Haggas' filly may prove too strong for the opposition. Lipsink is 2lb well-in following his runner-up effort at Sandown last Saturday, while Accrual and Jer Batt head the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Creative Queen 2nd Lipsink 3rd Accrual

Gelato can't be ruled out having won on soft ground at Ffos Las on her penultimate start before failing to see out the mile at the same venue next time, but CYPRIOT DIASPORA gets the vote. Rod Millman's mare won by an easy six lengths at Ffos Las a week ago and with conditions to suit she could quite easily shrug off the 5lb penalty incurred for that triumph. Clementines Star and Imelda bring consistency to the table and are others to take note of.
Prediction : 1st Cypriot Diaspora 2nd Gelato 3rd Clementines Star

FLASH BARDOT joined Henrietta Knight in late-March and posted a couple of creditable efforts over timber in the spring. The five-time Flat winner hasn't been seen on the level since finishing fifth at Nottingham last October, but this is her first run in the grade for some time and with conditions to suit she could surprise a few. Naturalia can go close after winning off 3lb lower at Ayr, while Ziggy's Avenger is noted too.
Prediction : 1st Flash Bardot 2nd Naturalia 3rd Ziggys Avenger
