Dexperts Opinion won here over hurdles in May and wasn't disgraced on his subsequent run over fences when second at Newton Abbot the following month. A place may be within his grasp, but MUMFORD'S MAGIC could be worth another chance, despite disappointing over further when jumping poorly at Warwick in March. Sure to have been extensively schooled since, he is lightly raced and may have more to offer for Dan Skelton. Jet Smart, Giovanni Change and Paper Mill are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Mumfords Magic 2nd Dexperts Opinion 3rd Jet Smart

HOLY LEGEND should prove popular having won two of his last three starts and the drop in trip is unlikely to be an inconvenience based on an easy Fontwell success over 2m2f in May. Culligran stays further but has a 2m win over hurdles to her name and a clear round could see her involved, while Boom Boom got back on track when third at Stratford and is another of interest.
Prediction : 1st Holy Legend 2nd Culligran 3rd Boom Boom

Company Charge disappointed when only fifth at Newton Abbot on debut but the Twiston-Davies team reach for cheekpieces for the first time looking for the improvement needed. Ebarayna, a length second at big odds at Uttoxeter, and C&D third Spanish Darling are more appealing, but so is newcomer MIDNIGHT LEXI. The dam is a half-sister to Scorpio Rising, who has won four races over hurdles, and bumper winner Queen's Melody, she is bred to be useful and might prove a useful recruit to the Skelton stable.
Prediction : 1st Midnight Lexi 2nd Ebarayna 3rd Spanish Darling

ELATED was still in contention over these hurdles last month when taking a tumble at the last. She looks worth another chance with Ben Pauling's yard in such good form. Do Wah Diddy benefited from the selection falling when left in fourth, albeit still well beaten. She can finish closer if sharpening up her hurdling, while it would be no surprise to see Drakaris improve on her first start since March and she's preferred to Steal A Glance and Jury Roses.
Prediction : 1st Elated 2nd Do Wah Diddy 3rd Drakaris

Tilehurst opened his account over timber with July's C&D success. He beat a subsequent winner so another bold bid looks on the cards, but it could pay to stick with EMERALD TIME. The latter arrives in fine form having won two of his last three starts, with his latest victory coming in a stronger contest at Uttoxeter. Raised only 4lb, he's taken to make a winning debut for Ryan Hatch's yard. Sun Art could prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Emerald Time 2nd Tilehurst 3rd Sun Art

Handlethekettle was progressing nicely when last seen completing a double over C&D 424 days ago and he may take some stopping if running to a similar level. Market support for the seven-year-old would need respecting, but it may be worth chancing THEATRE TOM to earn a breakthrough victory. Olly Murphy's charge wasn't without promise on his return from a lengthy layoff when fourth over track and trip and better is expected with Sean Bowen back in the plate. Scottish Anthem is a feasible alternative.
Prediction : 1st Theatre Tom 2nd Handlethekettle 3rd Scottish Anthem

Having displayed good form over C&D on his last two outings, Stiletto must place high on any shortlist. Although a 1lb nudge up in the ratings for the eight-year-old's latest third shouldn't prevent another bold showing, the unexposed SONYOURASTAR is slightly more appealing. The Kingston Hill gelding posted his best effort to date when hitting the frame at Uttoxeter and a subsequent wind procedure stepping up in trip may prove just the ticket. Bound For Glory shares a similar profile and is a feasible alternative.
Prediction : 1st Sonyourastar 2nd Stiletto 3rd Bound For Glory
