A mark of 71 seems fair for Pequenita on her nursery debut following her recent second at Lingfield, but WOODHAY WAYFARER is preferred. She ran on strongly to win at Newmarket and a fast-run race here would play to her strengths.

CAVOLO NERO moved to Harry Eustace after winning at Yarmouth in June before following up over C&D with a comfortable length and three-quarter victory. An added 5lb may not stop him landing the hat-trick. Exposure wasn't beaten far in fourth here in August and races off the same mark making the Expert Eye gelding of interest, while the three-year-old Victory Ace could also get into the mix in his bid for a four-timer.

Dubai Future is still going strong at 10 and drops in class after finishing a close-up third in the Grosser Preis von Berlin and may have a better chance than his odds imply, though stable companion Tornado Alert was only a head behind on his first start of the year and is 3lb better off now. GETHIN steps back up in trip after pulling too hard before finishing fifth to Constitution River in the Eclipse and could bounce back if settling better. It will be interesting to see how Constitution Hill fares after his brace of novice victories earlier in the year.

Andrew Balding trained last year's winner and MOONRISE is expected to launch a strong challenge. A C&D winner on debut, the progressive Churchill filly finished second in the Windsor Castle before landing a Group 3 race back at Ascot and she remains of interest, despite her 3lb penalty. Adaay Of Scarlett is proven at a high level, finishing second in a number of Group 2 contests, and has to be considered dangerous. He can improve past Agamemnon, who was a position in front of him when fourth in the Gimcrack.

VEIL OF CLOUDS was allowed to bowl along in front at Lingfield last time and never looked like being caught. She'll find this tougher raised 8lb, but the daughter of Pinatubo is still improving and could prove hard to catch if adopting similar tactics. Shallow finished a close second at Newmarket recently and the dual C&D winner has solid claims back at this venue, while both Zighy and last year's winner Powdering have a bit to find with the former on Newmarket running.

PRIMO LARA made a winning start for Jane Chapple-Hyam at Ascot in July and wasn't disgraced when fourth off this mark at York most recently. Having previously won on Polytrack, switching to a synthetic surface holds no fears for the consistent son of New Bay, who is likely to be popular with Billy Loughnane booked for the ride. Whitcombe Rockstar is a seven-time course winner that would be dangerous to sell short back at his favourite venue, while Tiernan and Majestic are others with reasonable claims.

Campeona edged out AN BRADAN FEASA by a neck when she won at Lingfield in early August and although the former commands respect, the latter is 4lb better off at the weights and can reverse the form with Oisin Murphy booked to drive him home this time. That is not to undersell Naval Tribute, whose Newbury success was the latest in a string of progressive efforts. However, he is now 6lb higher and looks vulnerable under top weight.
