This looks a competitive Class 4 0-80 handicap but a chance is taken on DURAN (best priced at 22/1) who is now dangerously handicapped off a mark of 75. The Nigel Tinkler trained five-year-old is a two-time winner at the track off marks of 72 and 79 as well as a winner at Haydock last season off a mark of 83.
Duran ran well to finish 5th beaten only 3 ½ lengths on his reappearance at Beverley off a mark of 85 but has now dropped drastically in the ratings following three below par efforts. Connections now fit him with a first-time visor and he should outrun his odds with up to six places available.

FLORIDA DREAMS (best priced at 15/2) needs to overcome stalls issues which led to him being withdrawn last time at Musselburgh but he looks to hold strong claims of recording his first success on the flat. The eight-year-old won the Grade 2 Bumper at Aintree in 2023 when trained by Nicky Richards but his previous three starts have all come in flat maiden races.
Florida Dreams ran well over 1m3f on the first two occasions before unsurprisingly getting outpaced over 1m1f last time. He now steps up in trip to 2m½f on his handicap debut off a mark of 70 and he could make a mockery of that mark with Mikey Sheehy retaining the ride.
