Although all three of his victories have come over 6f, DOON THE GLEN (best priced at 5/1) should be suited by this 5f trip on soft ground. The Jim Goldie trained six-year-old has now dropped down to a mark below 49 for the first time since winning here in June off a mark of 47.
Doon The Glen finished 5 th but beaten only 1 ¾ lengths over this course and distance off on his penultimate start off a mark of 50 so he looks well handicapped with Paul Mulrennan taking back over on board.

The Gary & Josh Moore trained AGGAGIO (best priced at 10/3) looked outpaced over 2m1½f when last seen but he should relish this step back up in trip to 2m4½f over hurdles. The eight-year-old remains well handicapped over hurdles in comparison to his flat rating now running off a mark of 95 which is the lowest since an 8 ½ length victory in March 2022 under Josh Moore in a novices’ handicap hurdle.
Aggagio runs in this 0-100 handicap hurdle off top weight and he looks the one to beat with Caolin Quinn once again on board.
