The three-year-old stayed on strongly that day giving the impression that the step up in trip to a mile would suit well and he was then unlucky not to win on his first attempt over the trip when not getting a clear run at the finish when beaten only 1 ¾ lengths in 3rd.
Unionville gets to run here off the same mark of 69 which is only 2lbs higher than his course success a month ago and he looks overpriced to hit the frame.
