The six-year-old has won both of his starts over this unique distance of 5 ½f and only got caught in the final stride when beaten by a nose over 6f here on his penultimate start.
Diomed Spirit runs here off only a 4lb higher mark than his latest success and he looks the one to beat with Charlie Bishop, who rode him to success in August here, back on board.

With form figures of 222221 on the AW this year, the Ross Burdon trained four-year-old has been incredibly consistent and her new trainer seems to have found the key to her starting on terms rather than having a tardy start which has hindered her previously.
Insuspense has been raised 5lbs for her latest 1 ¼ length success over this course and distance but that was her first ever victory in seventeen starts and should give her incredible confidence. William Carver retains the ride and she looks the one to beat.
